Gabapentin and Tramadol

I only recently started having severe RLS symptoms and I’m trying to see what works for me. I have ignored DAs based on advice here. 50mg Tramadol before bed has been working for the last 6 weeks but I’m worried about tolerance and eventual dependence. I am now going to try 300mg of Gabapentin before sleep. It is my intention to stop the Tramadol but realize that it takes a while for the Gabapentin to kick in. Is it ok to take both at the same time if I get desperate?

Regards

What works for one person may not work for another. I took them together with no problem. I took 200mg of Tramulief and 2700 mg of Gabapentin. I have switched from Gabapentin to Pregabelin and still take them.
