muscle weakness
hopefully someone can help as I’m puzzled to the fact that I do exercise and I am improving so much but my leg muscles are still weak even though I my flexibility is very good while doing
yoga
type classes but my ability to move my legs to another position in
yoga

How it feels to have stopped steroids
And
yoga
and weekly exercise class has helped. Probably like most I felt much better when we got those odd spring days. And last week cut down a couple of bushes in the garden and went to ballet class which I think was over doing things.

good morning everyone, hope you having a good one
I am on Pregabalin 300mg/ day and no help, I even start
yoga
, Pilates and aqua aerobic exercises, I go 3 times a week it help me but not much improvement and I am scared to go on higher dose of pain medication.

Pain in Neck and Shoulders
I have practiced
yoga

Stopped pred recently and not so bushy tailed.
I feel a bit more tired this week and generally a bit stiff in my muscles - however weekly
yoga
seems to help with the muscles. Also I have continued to have sore muscles in my chest and slight pins and needles feeling in my feet- the pins and needles is less than when I first had PMR.

Good news - alendronic acid
I modified my diet a bit, stsrting tsking Vit D and calcium, increased my BMI from 18.2 to 19.2 as recommended by the doctor, started lifting weights (not that heavy) and continued with my
yoga
and karate.

I have tried gentle

movement. Just an hour ago, suddenly the pain is in both sides of my neck, the back of my head, in my throat &across both shoulders & into the top of my back. Only now am I wondering if it could be a PMR flare up?

Is this a flare shouldI up the pred?
I do meditate and do very gentle
yoga
. However, I now have pain in my upper back under my shoulder blades. Could this be PMR? My legs have increasingly felt like concrete until 3pm. I take my 2mgs pred at 9am. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thoughts on compression gloves please?
I walk, run and do
yoga
and weightlifting and am extremely grateful I can still do these things at my advanced age! 😂 One of the things she suggested was gloves for extra support for my hands eg when driving any distance.

Back @ work full time and slowly recovering
I’ve been able to take small increments in doing more exercise and whilst I’m nowhere near what I was doing pre-diagnosis, I’m able to run, play tennis and
yoga
. I’m currently on 4.5mg of Pred and have to take vertigo tablets otherwise I go dizzy.

New Symptoms and New to this group
What I have tried myself is drinking plenty, no tea or coffee, I exercise, eat very little sugar, I exercise regularly, run,
yoga
etc.. No spicy foods. I am constantly in pain in my pelvic area and up 4 times at night and during the day visit the bathroom, every 1 - 2 hours.

Back and hips - is this a Flare??
In addition I am doing a sponsored
