IT'S STEP-tember Quest..... Finish Line in sight... How has it gone?
I did run my RFL 5K, very successfully and raised money for the cause:) Have picked up with my
Yoga
, and my Plankathon, although posting my progress there, needs work :) I am all set to join a new challenge too in October, set up by CBDB .

Who doesn’t like a great plan?
Having graduated to 10k running level and finished associated Strength and Flex programs, I now do my three runs per week, my daily
yoga
with additional Strength and Flex workouts here and there, choosing by the day of how I feel.

8 days to go to International Yoga Day
My countdown calendar tells me it’s eight days to go to international
yoga
day on 21st June. So what are your plans? A special YWA session? Try a specific pose you never tried before? Make a new
Yoga
resolution? Read that
yoga
book on your bookshelf? Make that YWA mat spray?

All we have to do is get out there
Warm up walk, off we go, hmm I’m recording
yoga
so stop watch and start again, wonder what happened to the intervals I tried to set up? So ran and ran faster then ran slower because I ate lunch at work and not the most comfortable.

At home I flopped into the paddling pool and did some
yoga
and stretching in the water. (I recommend) I send you my good vibes. Unfortunately I will be spending all day in the car tomorrow, my body hates it. Then holiday in the alps, will be challenge for running. m76

My Tuesday was great!
Woke up this morning, did a Tara Styles
yoga
routine. That really energized me and got me ready for my mindfulness class over zoom. Today we talked about relationships, and what we can learn from them. Also learned a type of mindful breathing called reverse nostril breathing.

yoga
, exercise and relaxation. Additionally they extended their services to include those living outside the Cheshire geographical area.

My journal entry for Wednesday
My
yoga
class today was fun and productive. My favorite pose today was eagle or butterfly wings. Loved doing it with everyone in person. I had just watched an episode of Friends before getting on the bus, was a little distracted from that.

Will my legs ever feel rested again?
On my rest days I might do some
yoga
/pilates or dance but I mostly walk a lot (I live in Edinburgh and don't drive so I'm forever walking up and down hills). I've started taking 2 rest days between runs but even that doesn't feel like enough.

W6R2 - 7 runs to 10km!
But as I increase my mileage I know I need to get better at this and as today I was feeling a bit sore from yesterday’s
yoga
it was a great opportunity to try! Physically, I was pretty successful.

Pros and Cons of GCA/PMR prescribed Prednisolone.
I have tried ,exercise, stretching,
yoga
, acupuncture ,massage and osteopathy. All helpful but unable to lengthen the range of motion due to seriously shortened muscles(or so it seemed).

Magnesium
I mentioned cramp especially whilst doing
Yoga
and he suggested taking Magnesium supplement. He pointed out that stress flushes Magnesium from our bodies and Magnesium was critical - I used to get very stressed (less so these days).

When did my runs become refreshing?
Am about to finish Season 2 on Zombies, and am delighting in this series of quick runs that do not dehydrate me and (after stretch and shower) leave me refreshed, ready to first
Yoga
and then go into the rest of the day!

What was your lap after care instructions?
Also, how long do I have to wait before having sex, swimming, cycling,
yoga
etc? I did ask but the nurse wasn't too sure. Thank you all in advance!

Another 0.6k extension, Audiobook, Metronome, and and Ankle Incident
- Back at home, stretches done, showered,
yoga
for post runs completed, I think I got away with healthy ankles this time around, but I got to watch this running on grass thing.
