Week 2 Run 2
Well I’d been dodging this one- niggly sciatica and excuses a gogo BUT I’d done a lot of walking and some
Yoga
so as it’s my birthday I thought id give myself the run as a present! It was fab, felt as though I was getting back into a rhythm of running and not a gremlin in sight!

YWA August - Virtual Mat on S&F
Just giving a shout out to all runners who may already be integrating or want to start a daily
yoga
practice to support their running.
Yoga
is great for beginning runners, stretching and flexing all those muscles doing the hard work whilst running.

CATCH-UP-CORNER...WEEK 2... Slip off your running shoes and come on in!
Besides my daily routine, I am trying to keep up with her Advent Resistance band challenge and relying on
Yoga
with Adriene and her December BREATHE plan. It is really keeping me calm and able to stay on track. ( Not sure Mr OF would agree)!

How to return from a calf strain well (PART 2)

yoga
( YWA https://healthunlocked.com/strengthandflex/posts/148709235/ywa-nov-calendar-daily-

My runanniversary today 26/12/22
So, for next year the plan is to continue with running but reducing the frequency to two runs a week and adding a
yoga
class, Ã dance class, a day hike in our beautiful ranges & a strength training workout to the mix so I am still exercising 6 days a week and still running.

Putting the Fun back into Fitness... Post 1 ..or...Did someone mention the word, core?
. ** Superman: Lie on the floor, ( a
Yoga
or Pilates mat a blanket or a towel will make it comfier). Relax and then just pretend you are superman, or super woman, or super person! Lie on your belly and hold your legs and arms straight out from the body. Only the belly is on the floor!

High Blood pressure - Medical recommendation
Should I try first with daily
yoga
/meditation sessions? Any alternative medicine or more natural options? I have a healthy diet (eat loads of vegs and low salt). I don't drink. I don't smoke. Thank you in advance.

My Self-Care Story
I practiced
yoga
, I meditated, I did Pilates, I took walks, I gardened, I meal planned, I volunteered and did so many things that I considered regular rituals of Self-Care. Â

A thought
When i was doing
yoga
, the teacher was like "now that you're all tangled up, say some mantras like aum, om, Elsa like Let it go, F*ck it" and that's the only time my brain doesn't feel like fried spaghetti. I'm sorry my posts are weird, just my brain is fried and here i go judging myself again.

Yoga in the Garden and Wind in the Willows
Instead of running on this hot morning, I caught up with my
yoga
in the shaded garden, and very glad for the mature trees beyond our boundaries! The coolness of the shade and the slight breeze going through the willows felt great!
