Hello, Community members - we wanted to let you know about the following upcoming MSAA Webinar...since we know there are a good amount of yoga enthusiasts on here!

Yoga along with mindfulness is a whole-person approach to bring ease and balance to the nervous system, which assists in managing MS symptoms.

Join Certified Yoga Therapist Kimberly Castello and learn simple, accessible ways to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and fatigue. Attendees will use what they have in their homes to practice gentle therapeutic movements and breathing techniques to improve balance, strength, and flexibility.

Please note the props to have available: chairs, blankets, and a strap or towel. Anything you have will do!

About the Presenter:

Kimberly Castello, C-IAYT, YTRX, E-RYT 500 is a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She earned her credentials after graduating from the Clinical Yoga Therapy program at Loyola Marymount University. She gained her clinical experience working with chronic pain patients at the Simms Mann Venice Family Clinic in Los Angeles, California. Kimberly began teaching yoga in 1999. In 2007, after being diagnosed with a chronic illness, she began exploring the therapeutic and restorative aspects of her yoga practice to complement western medical treatments. She specializes in developing chronic pain management and stress relief programs for individuals, hospitals, and clinics. In 2017, after 5 years of leading the Wellness program for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, Kimberly developed a Yoga Therapy program for their multiple sclerosis patients.
