IVIG and prednisone luck with PGS tested embryos after Multiple failed implantation
hi About to cycle soon and wanted to hear some positive stories if anyone had immune treatment with steroids. I'm due to have a Hycosy for my uterus to check there's no issues then cycle the month after.

Has anyone else had their inner demon released by steroids?
Near my 80th birthday and usually when things go wrong I say “Oh well, never mind”. Just recently, on 60 mg Prednisolone, after a usual disrespectful comment from a family member (been going on for years) I suddenly found my ‘voice’ and said things that had been a long time coming. “Oh well, never

new treatment
My neurologist has let me know that I have an “aggressive and advanced” MS based on my age (28) and time since diagnosis. (7 months) Steroids were the only treatment to make a difference for me although short term. Next for me is a try with a methylprednisolone 5day infusion. Will be my 4th treatment

Tired of colitis
I first was diagnosed with proctitis when I was about 20 but the doctor prescribed a sedative, believing it was stress related. After that I had about 4 or 5 flare ups over the course of the next 50 years, not having been officially diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis until 12 years ago. Mostly I tried

6DP5DT & Scared
New here & first post but Google keeps popping the page up as I'm frantically searching. This is my 7th round of IVF, my third with DE, you'd think I'd be used to this 2ww but I'm sure it's getting worse. I'm 6dp5dt with 2 tested embryos and don't feel a thing. I did have a few twinges & sore boobs,

GCA and PMR
I was diagnosed with PMR in February and started on 20mg steroids, this worked ok, I’ve had got down to 12.5mg until yesterday when I started having symptoms of GCA I’ve now been put up to 60mg as a precaution until I’ve had tests for GCA. I’m worried sick about taking so many steroids just wondered

Back Again
Hello everyone, sorry in advance for the mammoth post. I was last on this forum about 7-8 years ago in 2015/2016 after my previous symptom free asthma flared up badly and left me very sick (back on inhalers, steroids, and multiple hospital admissions). We managed to get my asthma back under control

Hello, I’m in my 12th week post op, everything went well, my eye is healed with stable pressure of 8. Last week I has a loose stitch removed after they put me back on steroids for 3 days. Even before that I started to experience sudden very itchy eye just around spot where the bleb is, also on the skin

Hi All, I don't know if some will remember me but I was on the group about 6 years ago and lost in total 8 stone in weight once I got maintanence under control. I lost weight following a scary asthma experience and with encouragement from a very supportive and imformative clinician who unfortunately

Just Left My Doctor’s Office
I told everyone I would follow - up with you in reference to strange “stabbing “ sensations in my ears! The Neuro wants me to get a MRI and a (3) day round of SM Steroids infusion in - home! Oh well, not looking forward to the MRI, after 20 + over the years who’s counting! I’ll need ZZ Quil about 30

Help Please 🙏🏻
Hi everyone, I desperately need the advice of people who can understand my situation. I am afraid for the first time since I became ill in 1990 that I am at my wits end and simply do not know what to do. I had a cavernous haemangioma removed from my nasal cavity in February. I suffered a haemorrhage

Hi all, Hope you're all as well as can be 💕 I'm back again, if you've seen my previous posts you'll know this last month or so have been really difficult. In the end I had to go to a and e because the pain was so severe in my hips, back and legs and no one could help aside from rheumatology and there

Dad diagnosed with GBM grade 4
Hi, my dad was diagnosed with a glioblastoma about 4 weeks ago. He has gone from being a fairly healthy 58 year old man who travels around the UK and holidays a few times a year abroad to a man who sits on the sofa refusing to go out or do anything. He has got a healthy appetite but is eating way too

upcoming PET scan
so, here’s where we are… My Joe has been experiencing increasing pain in his left hip and thigh. Today he said the thigh is numb. PET scan scheduled this coming Tuesday. He thinks it’s a hairline fracture. Is it wrong of me to hope he’s right, vs his cancer having landed there? He’s 4 months post-Pluvicto
