Steroids & cyclogest timings
I’m trying “naturally” this month and next before I start another egg collection cycle. Praying for a miracle 🙈 Miscarriage protocol for my NK cells have prescribed me Prednisolone 25mg & Cyclogest x2 (at night) …To take around “ovulation” for 10 days and then test. I got a LH surge on strips yesterday

The power of love
My first post! I was first diagnosed last year February with stage 3B. Not fun. But after 30 radiation treatments and 8 chemo sessions it had shrunk to the point where the docs were satisfied that it was probably dead and we could proceed into an "scan, wait and see " mode. I tolerated chemo and

End of Pred Treatment Programme
Hello- I hope to end my Pred Treatment Programme on 1st December. I'm a bit scared but also hopeful that I will not have another flare. Question: how long does it take for the steroids to go out of your system/ body? Thanks in advance.

Recovery from PMR
Hello everyone. Two issues to share. I developed pmr 24 years ago when I was 50 . I never took steroids but took ibuprofen for the pain and to get me through the working day. After two years the condition burnt out and I recovered completely. Fast forward to Christmas Eve 2021 when I ended up in Emergency

Had PMR for 10+ years and taking Prednisone in various amounts over those years. Have tried several times to wean myself off but lowest dosage I've been able to cope with is 6mg. I take lansoprazole twice a day.I have now been diagnosed with gastritis following a long spell of digestive issues. Have

Covid booster and aching joints
I had my Covid booster Number 6 (I am on Imraldi and steroids for my RA) about 3-4 weeks ago and ever since have been feeling tired and my whole body aches, just wondering if anyone else has suffered symptoms after the jabs. I am reluctant to have any more if I am going to feel like this.

ADVICE PLEASE
I am due to see my Rheumatologist soon and I just know that she will want me to try another tablet to enable me to reduce my prednisolone. I am currently on 12mg daily. When I tried Methotrexate it made me so ill that I stopped it but now I think they will say to try a different one. What do you all

Update on my Sirdupla changes
I received a call from the health Centre today to say that the consultant doesn't want me to come off inhaled steroids all together. ozurdex and prednisolone
I am on long term steroids for polymyalgia rheumatica on a dose of 6mg. I am due to have Ozurdex injections in the future and wonder how this will affect my steroid load as I have steroid induced tripe 2 diabetes? Not sure if anyone here will be able to help. Thanks

RA and Microscopic Colitis
I was diagnosed with RA 5 years ago, however I have recently been diagnosed with Microscopic Colitis too! I have also been tested for Coeliac disease and my blood results came back as 0.3u/ml which was the low end of the reference scale (I believe this result is possibly bordering a low immunoglobulin

Not sure what to do
I was diagnosed with PMR in January 2021 and have been under the care of my GP. I am now taking 7.5 mg daily but am still getting pain in my arms and shoulders and feeling extremely tired. Things are complicated by the pains in my back for which I have seen an orthopaedic consultant and an MRI has shown

Stuck at 3mg
Feeling disheartened at not being able to get below 3mg - I have been stuck here for 6 months, and whenever I try to reduce, I flare. I'm caught between a rock & a hard place as I have also been diagnosed with a scary malignant melanoma, and the immunotherapy treatment (which I have not yet been prescribed

Insomnia update - anyone used Sleepstation?
Saw doc 14th Nov re insomnia. He reluctantly prescribed Zoplicone as an emergency measure as he told me they were addictive. He recommended an online course, Sleepstation, which had an NHS link. This was not apparently available in my area so I was offered a reduced rate of £160 to do the course. Desperate

Initial Obinutuzumab (flush?)Reaction leading to ER
Hello there community, Just wanted to see if anyone had any insight on what happened or how? And if my chances are better the next time I try again, w/out such a severe reaction. I went in for the low dose/(test)bag of Obinutuzumab. Due to to certain circumstances, my Oncologist had already put me
