I am wondering the same thing. I have covid. Tested positive 2 days ago. Should I take Methotrexate and Humira this week? I have continued with steroids 4 mg daily and statins 10 mg daily

If you have antivirals then yes stop the mtx and humira. If in doubt speak to your rheumy. xxxx

Thank you Sylvi. My rheumy is normally very busy and hard to contact. I do remember now being told in ty eary stages of the pandemic it might be good to stop Methotrexate if infected . So I'll give it a miss this week.😊

You need to contact your rheumy as they are the only ones who can tell you that

Thank you KittyJ. I can't believe after so many antigen tests over the last few years I finally got the 2 pink lines ! It has knocked the stuffing out of me. I'll skip the methotrexate this week. Cups of tea and orange juice have never tasted so good! 🧃☕️😊

My first time too...2 lines on Monday. I've been on antivirals since Tues.

Hi Greynot, This Covid is persistent, isn't it! Gets you in the end! I was too late to get antivirals. But I'm doing ok. Just no energy now . Good luck with your recovery!😊

I was told by rheumatology when I had Covid in April to stop methotrexate till I had a negative test result x

Hi Pulfs, Yes, I was advised to skip methotrexate until symptoms were gone. I'd say by next week I'll be able to take the usual dose. I hope you were not too sick abd made a full recovery. 😊
