I am wondering the same thing. I have covid. Tested positive 2 days ago. Should I take Methotrexate and Humira this week? I have continued with steroids 4 mg daily and statins 10 mg daily

Thank you Sylvi. My rheumy is normally very busy and hard to contact. I do remember now being told in ty eary stages of the pandemic it might be good to stop Methotrexate if infected . So I'll give it a miss this week.😊
Thank you KittyJ. I can't believe after so many antigen tests over the last few years I finally got the 2 pink lines ! It has knocked the stuffing out of me. I'll skip the methotrexate this week. Cups of tea and orange juice have never tasted so good! 🧃☕️😊
Hi Greynot, This Covid is persistent, isn't it! Gets you in the end! I was too late to get antivirals. But I'm doing ok. Just no energy now . Good luck with your recovery!😊
Hello Larmie, sorry to hear you have Covid. As KittyJ says, please do contact your rheumatology team for advice. I do appreciate that this can be difficult, but they will have access to all your medical notes. If you have any problems or concerns, do call the NRAS Helpline on 0800 298 7650.
Hi Pulfs, Yes, I was advised to skip methotrexate until symptoms were gone. I'd say by next week I'll be able to take the usual dose. I hope you were not too sick abd made a full recovery. 😊
