? Did I read thought the shock of the cold (as never warm) can be bad?? I haven't but I know I have to rehaul my life style. I eat the wrong food. Sit a lot at work. Basically not doing my heart any favours! You think this would be the kick up the butt lol.

Recently diagnosed PMR and unsure about preds
I'm 51, have been fairy fit...jogging 2 miles twice a week, a bit of cycling and
swimming
. Quite robust, though have had 2 years of much emotional turmoil with various severe family illnesses and a bereavement.

help getting motivated
Hi group, anyone local to Bilston want to help me getting motivated, joining me at the gym,
swimming
at The Bert couple times a week. I just can't get myself motivated to go through one thing and another, but if had a buddy to meet there would help. thanks Mike

GCA - I am not going to apologise for this long post.
Family, friends and sometimes total strangers, running, walking, baking cakes,
swimming
, a 'Gentle Walking Group' set up by a PMR patient, raised over £2500 by giving £1 every time they walked and ended up in a local cafe, some with Nordic Walking Poles.

Well, if I can do it...
Not only that, but last year I added a Pilates class once a week to the mix, and recently
swimming
and strength training at home. I honestly did not see all of this coming... So that's my running story. I look forward to hearing all of yours after you have completed C25K.

Do I have fibro myalgia?
Swimming
and bathing seem to help, but it's getting to point where I feel really like bits of me are going to break. Is this fibro myalgia? And if so what can I do? To put you guys in the picture I've had enough cortisol running through me for 100 people, especially last two years.

Wine and exercise
Swimming
is probably good, but the nearest pool to me is 12 miles away and I don't have a car. Also, any tips on quitting wine? It's delicious, but hinders my weight loss! I like it with cetain meals, though, such as anything with garlic, fish or chicken. Thanks :)

C25k as rehab- here we go again...
I went back to the pool and started
swimming
💤 Then, I watched a daytime tv programme in April showing Angela Rippon doing C25k and thought I had nothing to lose...

So basically I was able to figure out that, to get to that

and pilates 😊 I made a few mistakes along the way - the worst of

Can I discontinue Zoladex after I year instead of taking it for 2?
Being an outdoors person and otherwise quite fit I have continued daily hard
swimming
throughout but find it more and more difficult to do the same length. Even climbing a flight of stairs is an effort.

The Look In My Mother’s Eyes
I’ve found there is just no way to understand the feelings of the demented mind unless you have experienced it first hand, in your very own brain,
swimming
amidst a thick sea of molasses. My 1st such experience occurred a few weeks ago when my family and I were dining out.

Any ideas with worsening weird rash please?
Their answer is usually to tell me how ‘complicated’ I am and to ring rheumy / nephrologist or go to hospital - which would be embarrassing if it’s flea bites from the dog 😱😂 It’s also completely painless so not too bothered if it’s not a sign of bleeding/ inflammation elsewhere, at least I get the
