Days out ideas

I'm worrying about keeping the kids entertained for 2 weeks during the Easter holidays. So far I plan to go to the park and take a picnic and they really want to go swimming so we'll do that. Does anyone know if there is anything happening or have ideas of what we can do? Help :) !!

Hey LawsonLion! What about going to one of those trampoline parks? I hear they are really good, and great for burning some energy off! :)

Hello LawsonLion , great question, I'm sure this will be really relevant for loads of people on here. Lets hope we can compile a list of great ideas of ways to keep our children (and us parents!) occupied...

Depending on your childs' age, some of the local children's centre's have holiday programmes.

There's a good round up here from the EDP, though some of it is quite pricey: edp24.co.uk/going-out/thing...

How about things you can do at home or out and about like Easter egg hunts, decorating eggs, making easter bonnets, scavenger hunts...?

Like Rachel said, brilliant question! Two weeks is a long time and days out can easily get quite expensive.

Change4Life have some really good ideas on keeping kids (and the rest of the family!) active which is ideal for days at home in the garden. Their 10 Minute Shake Ups are based around Disney characters:

We have been worrying about this to! Not sure where you live but in KingsLynn on Easter Friday , I think it’s the 19th April this year, they do a family Easter egg hunt. You get a map from the centre of town and then hunt for eggs. It was fun last year but really busy so get there early.

Download Pokemon Go or Munzee to your phone and get out and about hunting imaginary creatures and AR codes!
