On this day in 2019 I was admitted to hospital with a huge blood clot! I had had a pacemaker fitted in the April and by July I was sporting a clot that went from the pacemaker up to my collarbone, along it and down my arm, back up to my armpit and my neck into my head! π± sixth months of Edoxiban sorted that out but I had become very sedentary and loved to indulge in food. I went back to my default sport of swimming about two weeks before lockdown so that was short lived. C25k was the way to go! So itβs rather apt that one year later I finished my last run! Job done β . Having thought I might not make it past week two, I am amazed at how I found the motivation to continue. Now I must find it again so that I can continue. Next goal is to actually run 5k not just for 30 minutes! Happy days! π πββοΈππΌπ―
