Midfoot arthritis
Some of you may remember that I have been experimenting severe pain in my feet which has got worse over the last few years. I've just had some more ultrasounds done and the report is not good. I have significant changes in both feet in the tasal and metatarsal joints. I saw my Rheumatologist yesterday

How many hours do you manage each night Just asking as I struggle and rheumatology have twice contacted my GP because my sleep pattern is very poor due to pain. I only wear my Fitbit at night and the results are not good. Told my GP no more meds and that I am reducing my tramadol dosage as of yesterday

I have been on increased steroids now for about 3 months after a long flare kicked off from the sun and just finally got back down to my maintenance dose of 5mgs daily this last week. Already the last 2days I have started feeling awful with stiffness and joint pain. Said to my partner today ‘do u want

Anyone got any ideas about what I should do now?
I was diagnosed with RA in 2006 and later Fibromyalgia. Since then I've been on Sulfasalazine, MTX orally, Hydroxychloroquine, MTX subcutaneously, steroid injections. At the beginning of the year I was so bad I could hardly move, I was put on 4 months of Prednisone, and started on 50mg Benepali - which

MTX and then Nothing
This is my story and I am wondering if anyone out there has had anything similar or advice on how I can carry on. I became ill all guns blazing with definitive diagnosis of RA back in 2011/12 when I was 45. In fact I came to a full stop couldn’t even lift the duvet off my bed or grip my toothbrush. Most

Re: Severe pain in hip after PMR flare
I recently posted about the pain I had in my right hip (buttock really). I was unable to get an appointment to see my usual doctor and was in such pain I phoned and asked for a doctor to come out. The duty doctor phoned me back saying that he had a clinic for this sort of thing on Thursday and if it

Update on Tofacitinib
Happy Friday all. Thought I would give it a while with this bioligic they have put me on to feedback. It's been around 3 weeks now. Here goes: - prior to taking this new biologic I was off medication for about 8 weeks. This was due to Entracept taking my white blood cell count too low around 0.7

Hi Ive been using Botox for two years now every 3 months. I had slow steady improvement. The last Six months were exceptional with only 1-5 migraines or so. Then, a solid 5 weeks of migraines straight. Had to go get a steroid injection occipital nerve block injection to try and stop it. Does anyone
