i had a lumbar epidural in april 2018 for l4-l5 disc which i think did help alittle but when lower disc l5-s1 started to play up several months later they gave me a caudal epidural which has made me worse not better. everybody is different as ive heard of many people that the injection helps. physio is great to help you when youve got the initial pain, once they say u can, u start pilates and ive been told it will help to do pilates every week forever to have a strong core to stop any future back trouble.

The best medication I have tried is Pregablin but of course it doesn't suit everyone. I also found physio exercises to build up my core strength and gentle stretching exercises also helped.x
