Sooo that didn't exactly go to plan!
After being so positive that I was going back to work Wednesday and feeling as near to normal as possible on Tuesday had a massive flare up Tuesday night. Seriously starting to think I'm allergic to work. Was so excited to be going back though. Before I went to bed my knee was twinging a bit but nothing

What next...??? Help and advice needed
I am at present on Humira since Dec.2011..."will make you feel like a new man " ...sadly it hasn't ...no real lasting effect...I seem to get flares every 6-8 weeks and the last one put me off work for 4 weeks and was only settled with steroid injection. My consultant is reluctant to give me steroids.

Yesterday I spent the day in bed - for the first time.
I have had RA for something like 13 years - well that's when I got the first lot of knee pain and swelling that took me to the doctor. Only later realised that the 2 or 3 years of general 'unwellness' was probably something to do with the RA as well. It took best part of a year of nagging to get a

Flare!!!
Hi All The final chapter it seems in my swelling for the last month has ended with me flaring. I was in flare pain since tuesday at work. Asked to go home, as I had a light timetable as the yr 11's have left and yr 7's where on a residential trip. Cover was tight, so I was unable to go home. Wednesday

Hello, I am new!
I am 33 years old and I have suffered with fatigue, aches and pains for years. Every time I went to my G.P. (multiple and in different areas of the country), they just told me I was run down, depressed, had a post-viral syndrome, etc. Nearly three years ago I started with severe shoulder pain, all over

Steroid injection doesn't seem to have kicked in!
Hi, I got a Depo-Medrone injection over a week ago but it doesn't seem to have kicked in. Still in a lot of pain. I am on Methtrexate 17.5 mg. Saw the rheumy nurse last week who gave me the injection and said that the rheumatologist should review my medicines. My appointment with the rheumatologist
