Has anyone ever tried heavy CBD strains of Marijuana to help with their anxiety?
I've been looking into Medical Marijuana and though I don't smoke or am fond of the smell, it is a natural plant. And I rather try that, than to immediately jump in the big pharmaceutical industry for medicine. I'm in the perfect state to try it (CO), and I was curious to see if anyone has given it a

Weight loss
I'm so fed up with being over weight. I have tried everything I can with minimal success, if any. Anyone know anything about bariatric surgery when suffering with Hypothyroidism?

I'm new here, my question is why drug companies are able to switch patients from a drug that works only because a new generic is available?
My health insurance no longer will cover the ONLY medication that helped me with fatigue and the ability to stay working in full time status. The Brand name Nuvigil I guess costs too much and now that Mylan has come up with a generic form it's the only one available to me. I'm back to square one 4 yrs

Jumping awake when trying to sleep
Most nights when I try to fall asleep it's like I'm trying to go to sleep then either it feels like I quit breathing or my heart stops and I jump awake gasping for air. Is this sleep apnea or something related to anxiety??! My husband say that he hears me quit breathing and then that's when I jolt awake

Hi everyone! Many of you may have read my previous posts as my wife Kim has FND. Meds not helping
Why are the meds I'm taking not helping my pain. I'm on pregablin 600mg and imipramine 40mg. Previously on Duloxetine with the Pregablin but that didn't help. I have rectal neuropathic pain and vaginal.

Another interesting blog post from Alan Hoffman
Alan Hoffman, one of the participants in the first Georgetown University nilotinib trial for PD, has just added a new post to his blog (17 Nov 2016). In this post he makes reference to the program BIG, and to the drugs Rytary and Tasigna (nilotinib), which he is taking. http://advenventurouslifewithparkinsons.blogspot.com.au

Tofranil?
Has anyone here had experience taking Tofranil and what should I expect? My lovely new doctor is finally coming around to deciding that I may have some form of CTD but is not really sure how he's going to tackle it and minimise unnecessary toxicity. Before we go head first into hydroxy he wants to try

Have You Tried a Dopamine Agonist?
HI all. I suffered from RLS before doctors were even familiar with the term. I had heard about restless legs syndrome on TV and wanted to try the new drug (Requip) they were advertising to help people suffering with the symptoms mentioned. I found a Dr. who had heard of it and prescribed it for me

Victoza
Victoza is a type 2 diabetic medication that I was on for about a year. Late last year or maybe it was early this year my insurance company insisted I try something else because of the outrageous cost of Victoza. It runs about $800 a month. So I got switched to Trulicity, and found that it worked
