I was hoping to use aromatherapy oils in this pregnancy too, in the lead up and during labour, however I've been told to

Ayurveda - Kanchanar Guggulu
There was an article in the Daily Mail "Herbs, hypnotism, Indian Massage", last Tuesday, 30th July, about a private GP practising traditional Indian medicine. He mentioned an Ayurvedic herb, Kanchanar Guggulu, and I quote: "which enables the thyroid gland to function normally again in patients with

Is there a dedicated support function for people suffering with Sleep disorders in the UK?
It seems clear to me that we need a dedicated support facility for Sleep disorders. The illness is easily diagnosed, very difficult to treat and destroys lives. Depressives have counsellors, and other physical ailments have support. Where do we go for support, we are diagnosed, told we should inform

Anyone got a good alternative to Amitriptyline?
I am heading for 19 stone and this is ridiculous. I need the Amitriptyline for the sleep aid and desensitising of my skin. On Lyrica and Tegretol too.

Surprising reasons that you have sleeping problems.
I'm sick of not getting sleep and maybe some of my problem is a habit but mostly it's my legs that keep me up. RLS. I was researching on webmd.com (very trusted site) about what keeps me up at night. I found an article that says this... Courtesy of webmd.com.. Sleep Wrecker 4: Medicine, Vitamins

Must Read ..sleeping problems and Thyroid Gland
Hi all I feel I must write this , after only having total thyroid gland removal on Monday my sleep has improved unbelievably. I am due to have a sleep study next month for Apnea but the way things are going I don't think I have it anymore since I had the operation. I am 100% sure these 2 are linked

As Questran is off limits for the time being, I spoke to my hepatologist who suggest I can substitute Questran Light, colestipol or
general cholestymamine. I can't guarantee that the spellings are correct! I know what Questran Light is like, has anybody used either of the other two? If so, what comments do you have on taking them?

Obstructive Sleep Apnoea as a cause for AF?

i took primrose oil for a while and now i'm trying siberian ginseng, which is said to help control stress levels, help with fatigue and even mild depression...just started it a week ago, it may be for other reasons but the fact is that i'm feeling better this week. let's wait and see the long term results
