just finished week 2, run 1 and feel great. Week 1 was a challenge as I think I was running to fast. But thanks for all your posts I have read on here, and you keep saying that you need to run slower🐌 and it works. Knees are feeling better and I am happy with running now. Thank you.

Congratulations! It’s never too early to celebrate how well you’re doing. You’ve found the secret to enjoying couch to 5k and making great progress too…keep it steady!

There’s a brilliant little guide to the programme here with lots more helpful hints and tips. Well worth a read. Most important though is keeping at that lovely pace where you can talk in full sentences without gasping. Most of us go too fast! Recovery days between runs are absolutely essential too.

Keep posting about your runs and you’ll get loads of support and encouragement!

Good stuff! I'm deliberately focusing on a slower pace so that I can run for longer, so really well done!
