Before I go any further I Graduated 5km in June which was a recovery plan following an injury!
With the dark night and dark mornings beginning to eat into our running!
Safety is all important so hi vis and running lights out of the cupboards!
Like many people I want to stay indoors wrapped up and cosy!
I really don’t want to get my kit on and step out the front door after a full day’s work!
It’s very easy to say I won’t do it today!
That was me tonight but I got my kit on and made it out the door to run club oh boy I am glad I did I feel so much better for it! Being with friends having chat while exercising is lovely and well worth it!

🍏 So often the way, that when we least feel like it, but make the effort, we are rewarded! Thanks for sharing and encouraging us all. Congratulations on your graduation too!! Don’t forget to claim a badge!
Exactly the same here, last night it was grey and full of drizzle, oh must I go, but SWMBO said yes as she had plans without me and wanted me out of the way, now at the club I'm running with a chap who is recovering from an heart attack, at the start he was pulling me along but now that has reversed, so I'm running slower than I'd like, at the club, but believe it or not I think it is helping me more than slowing me. Sometimes what you perceive is incorrect so don't wimp off and get out there and keep winning at life 😀
