I started the couch to 5k back in 2018 and following that, ran in my local 10k race, which if I'm honest...I hated!After the aftermath of COVID I started the couch to 5k again which I really enjoyed, but shortly after completing this and running regular 5k's I got a knee injury which took some time to heal and put a stop to the running.
I started the couch to 5k again in April this year. I took it slowly, never deviated from the programme, did the warm ups/stretches etc and now I am running 8k with ease, love and a feeling of freedom. It's like I've finally learnt how to run and enjoy it, and my next stop is my local 10k race in September! Who knows what will be next.❤️❤️❤️
