Weight Loss Advice

I know this is a topic that drives us all mad lol but any advice is welcome.I was a long distance runner before I had my 5th child and then 11 months later diagnosed with Hasimotos. I gained 3 stone after the pregnancy before diagnosis. I have lost 2 stone but this last stone does not shift no matter what I do.

I've tried everything.

I haven't got back into running but I do go to the gym 3 times a week. Cardio for 45 mins and weights.

The latest thyroid results I have are -

TSH - 0.12 mu/L (0.27 - 4.2) - July '23

Free T3 - 5 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) - July '23

Free T4 - 23.3 pmol/L (12-22) - July '23

Ferritin - 76 ug/L (13 - 150) - July '23

Vitamin B12 - 49.6 pmol/L (37.5 - 150) - July '23

Folate - 11.7 ug/L - July '23

Vitamin D - 98 nmol/L - (50 - 200) - July '23

I have since increased B12. Am due to test everything this month.

I take iron, B12, D, zinc, selenium, B complex, creatine and 125mcg levothyroxine.

I have tried tracking calories. I'm 5'2 and just over 11 stone. Stick to 1500-1800 calories a day.

I would love to just lose 1/2 a stone and get back in my clothes but seems an endless battle. I am always between 11st - 11st 3 no matter what I do.

Any advice welcome. Thanks.

This subject is discussed endlessly on here. And nobody really has any universal suggestions. This is the link to the latest thread on weight-loss, you might find it interesting:

However...

Free T3 - 5 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 51.35%

Free T4 - 23.3 pmol/L (12-22) 113.00%

these rather old results show that you are a poor converter and your FT3 is on the low-side, and that could have something to do with it. And things could have got worse during the past year with your low-ish-calorie diet and over-exercising. So, be good to see the new labs to see how things have evolved. :)
