Something new for today
So one of our local
running
groups is starting a fitness walking group today and I am going along to try it out! I’m already
running
three times a week and this is a gentle extra as I can’t do any gym workouts did to my shoulder! My friend is
running
it so I am going to support her!

Can anybody unravel this
I won't go into all her medical history but what she rang me for is the fact she is
running
continually to the toilet with very loose stools. Can anybody decipher the above. - no MK 7 with D3.

Restarting after injury
So, I completed C25K about 2 months ago and then I continued
running
three times a week for a couple of weeks afterwards. Then I had really painful backache just behind my shoulder blade, I think it was something to do with the way I was holding myself.

Music while running. Another "who knew..." moment
Today W1 R2 made the bold decision to listen to music while
running
. Hadn't wanted to before thinking (such are my levels of hyperchondria) that music would mean I wouldn't be able to listen to my body telling me if I was having a heart attack or stroke! Well what a revelation!

Just broke open my new 2024 fitness diary!
I used to be an avid diary writer until my thirties, than stopped and only picked it up again once I started
running
, walking and rowing in my 50s.

NRC 10K plan
Seemed like hardly worth putting my
running
kit on for! So because I'm also trying to do the January YWA I dressed in my gym kit when i got up and when I'd finished the yoga I went straight out. It wasn't raining! Coach Bennett was chatting away.

Never give up on the comeback! 👍🏃♀️🙂
I am still taking things nice and slowly but my confidence is growing and a few ‘friendly’ hills are also proving that I’m not done with this
running
journey yet!

shoes
Are there any suggestions for comfy footwear as currently using
running
shoes and one single pair of boots. Can’t walk in anything else when I can walk that is. So any suggestions for comfortable gents shoes that are reasonably fashionable would be appreciated.

Weight loss with PCOS & underactive thyroid
She's also quite active, having had two children (5 & 11) she's always on her feet
running
around after them. She is good with her diet I'd say, she has around 1,200kcal per day. She avoids high sugar/high carb foods.

A short personal story
If anyone new to
running
and reading this is wondering if
running
can change your life? It really really can as long as you're prepared to put the effort in!! Peace out

Going into week 4
but I looked ahead at the week online and it’s quite the jump in
running
time? I’m not really a morning person (even on Christmas) and I do the majority of runs in the evening, plus I feel like I struggled with 3 minute runs so not sure how I’ll handle 5 minutes.

I gave Brooks
running
shoes. I bought them after getting a knee injury at week 3 and had to take 9 weeks off!!! The power of the
running
shoes has made a huge difference. I’m using my walking socks Berghaus at the moment but I’m aiming to buy
running
socks soon.

NDT Source
Hello
Running
very low on NDT. Any recommendations where to purchase from? Bought just before c-1-9. Please share available sources and variations. I have been on a few brands of NDT. All seem to work fine as long as it is NDT.

Am I addicted?
I had to stop
running
because of hip and knee pain. I have been doing Pilates exercises for hips and hip has felt easier. I have tried some short walks and yesterday did a longer one but I couldn't just walk . I had to run! Short distances with walks and thought I might suffer later but no.
