A leap of faith… and runs of hope 🤞🍀 🌈
When I started to recover from my hip injury and needed to ease back into
running
I thought it was a perfect time to try out the new orthotics. With my injury history I felt I had nothing to lose.

Starting a YouTube channel is good rehab.
I got it up and
running
by the beginning of the year. Learning all the tech was hard but I managed to make a few videos that are really bad quality, learned from them and adjusted the way I made them.

What a trip!
I only taking small dose of xanax when panic sets in, but
running
out and doctor won't prescribe more until I do lab tests, problem is I put of state taking care of elderly relative. Hoping I can get home soon to take care of this.

🍏 Fartlek or Foolish
To my horror it was a 20 min Fartlek run with 6 mins of easy pace
running
to warm up. I decided to play safe and listen to the coaching, maintaining my easy pace & keeping an eye out for the ice. A happy lady to get in a 26 min run with no slipping or sliding. 🙌 🏃♀️ ☀️

I book an Uber to get to the bus as the bus gets to the ferry but the Uber takes the longer route and misses the last bus
running
(keep in mind I just got off work so I couldn’t go earlier). So my partner and I shook it off and decided to go for dinner.

Small person germs!
Just a bit of a sniffle but I knew as soon as I went out for my longer run on Sunday that I was fighting a couple of the blighters as the minute I started
running
my heart rate soared! I managed 30 minutes and then walked home.

I am still getting hot flames
running
up my arms and legs, which I know is the inflammation. But I had those when on the jabs. Or am I just kidding myself and next week I will feel lousy again?

Threshold vs Aerobic heart rate
Good day beautiful runners I have a question on the groups thoughts about
running
with your heartrate at the threshold heart rate zone vs aerobic heart rate zone. I run very, very slow and thought I was
running
at a slower heart rate, but my garmin watch is telling me differently.

Trip to the Physio; the verdict!!
She said that my long runs have built up the necessary leg strength for regular distance
running
and there were no concerns. Happy days!

Nike Run Club 60’s
Running
parts 60 seconds each, with recovery breaks 5K pace x 4 10K pace x 4 Mile pace x 4 I do have trouble working out the paces, but it doesn’t really matter. As long as you’re out there
running
😊. I look at my watch a lot and have a vague idea of what I should be doing.

Walk a mile. Run a mile. Smile!
This meant a bit of ducking brambles and listening extra hard for cars who might not see me
running
so close the the edge of the road. I really enjoyed it though. It felt so good to be out and actually

WEEKLY CHAT 17-23 JULY 🫖☕️ TIME FOR A TREAT?
Hello
running
people. How’s it all going? I’ve been thinking recently of how hard we work our bodies when we do this
running
thing. We know it’s a high impact exercise.

To stretch or not to stretch?
After I’ve finished
running
I need the loo so cannot honestly be bothered with a stretch. Would stretching help my body shape? I was expecting thighs as long, lithe and lean as Mo Farah instead they look like a couple of Bernard Mathews turkey drumsticks……🦃 🤷♀️
