I have PsA with entithesis and get very painful feet. Are there any suggestions for comfy footwear as currently using running shoes and one single pair of boots. Can’t walk in anything else when I can walk that is. So any suggestions for comfortable gents shoes that are reasonably fashionable would be appreciated.

suffer a lot of pain although I was told I don`t have P/A I get painful feet constantly wear trainers as well not ideal in wet winter weather you can buy spongier insoles to help.

Thanks for that tried insoles but the thickness i need precludes most of my current footwear. Im being assessed for a wheelchair so might not be so important

Hi, I have arthritis in my feet and I have been referred to a podiatrist to get insoles made, I am hoping that will help, my appointment is next week maybe they will be able to suggest other things as well. It might be worth asking your doc for a referral although the waiting list might be quite long I have waited a few months. Char

Thanks for your reply I might ask if I can ever get an appointment with my GP!

That's not so good, I am in Scotland and I think sure you can self refer, it takes a bit longer for an appointment but it by passes the GP. Char

Have you looked at somewhere that sells orthopedic shoes like Hotter? Some of their shoes are normal looking. I'm being investigated for PSA but also have toe joint issues and plantar fasciitis and I can't wear anything except hotter shoes or trainers myself at the moment. I never imagined I'd be shopping from them in my early 40's but such is life with foot pain! I'm sure some styles in the men's have removable insoles from something my Dad said so if you had a specialist one you should have room to fit it to the shoe.

Not what you're looking for?
