Am I addicted?
I had to stop
running
because of hip and knee pain. I have been doing Pilates exercises for hips and hip has felt easier. I have tried some short walks and yesterday did a longer one but I couldn't just walk . I had to run! Short distances with walks and thought I might suffer later but no.

Anyone used C25K to run faster?
Has anyone tried using the C25K series as a means to
running
faster? I could use the podcasts as
running
at my current speed and
running
faster, in place of a series of walks and runs. Or is there an established, better way? Just a thought.

Finally enticed to the dark side!!
So yesterday, I drove to our small boutiquey
running
shop that just sells
running
shoes. I took my Asics Nimbus 24 size 8 along to show what I had been wearing and walked out with these 3 beauties. Meet On Cloudmonster, Brooks Ghost 15 and Saucony Ride 16.

Did everything wrong, but...
I wasn't dressed for it (walking shoes not
running
shoes) and I ended up holding 2 dogs on their leads, my breasts (no sports bra for dog walks) and a backpack that was bouncing all over the place. Non of it ideal and I really enjoyed it.

Week 7 it's good to see you again!
I'm off to Lisbon for a few days and I'm packing my
running
shoes. If you've spent any time on the IC you'll understand how excited I am about thatπ

coughing up blood
Iβve also started
running
again and was so short of breath today and thought Iβd have to ring an ambulance but thankfully that settled. This is so not like me as Iβm really quite fit and try and cycle to work as much as possible. Just want to see what your thoughts are? Thank you HC π

Nrc 10k plan run 4
I have a funeral to go to on Friday and while it perhaps seems odd I'm wondering if
running
will help. Somehow we are both feeling strange and discombobulated. Our friend died very quickly with only three weeks from diagnosis to death. It has left me feeling rather at sea.

My dad's also sick, he's been
running
a slight fever since yesterday, and I just feel like I'm not getting any better. Ok I should just go, but leaving and going is a different story for me π¬. I panic at the thought of having COVID again possibly All ik is I feel so miserable lately π©

Mental block
On my last runs I managed 7 min per km (excluding warm up and cool down walk) without my
running
buggy and 8 min per km
running
with my son in the buggy. I donβt think Iβll ever get down to a 30 minute 5k! thanks for any advice or just some motivation to get me out today!

Week 4 done
I completed the programme nearly 5 years ago and since losing my
running
mojo a couple of years ago, I've tried doing the programme again several times again in the past couple of years but have never had the self discipline to keep with it again. So this is the furthest I've managed to get and feeling
