Two and a half years ago I was put on medication for PTSD.....today I took my last ever tablet!!! The massive improvement to my physical and mental health, which I attribute solely to running, has allowed me, under the guidance of my GP, to finally ditch the meds. The person I was two and a half years ago no longer exists...Good riddance!!!!
If anyone new to running and reading this is wondering if running can change your life? It really really can as long as you're prepared to put the effort in!!
Peace out

🍏Thanks for sharing your story! What a tribute to all the effort you have put in doing these runs! How wonderful you don’t need further medication!! After all you have been through, this is a wonderful outcome and will encourage many I am sure! You certainly have given me incentive to keep on, keeping on!!
I, too, have found running (and Pilates) to be very good for my mental health in addition to my physical one, of course. And I still have to pinch myself that I can do it thanks to the magic of the Couch to 5K program (well, it's not really magical and it felt like it at times...)
