CATCH-up-CORNER...WEEK 2... BABY... it's COLD OUTSIDE !
In adverse weather, consider
running
loops closer to home rather than tackling a long 'out and back' run. Just common sense really?

Day 6 of the James Dunne 7-Day Challenge ⌛️⌛️💪🏽🦵
Time is
running
out and we‘re advancing fast towards the last session …. Tomorrow!!!!! 😳 I haven‘t even looked at what he‘s talking about today, so you might beat me to it, as I have an early work-work and will have to do these later in the day! Well done to everyone who still is with us!

Running away
I've been working two to three jobs lately, and it's starting to take a toll on me. I've been on new meds for a while, mostly anger medications, and they make me feel empty and crappy. I want to talk to my therapist about it, but I don't see him for a few months, and I feel like I have backtracked in

First run after hernia op
I'd asked the surgeon how soon after the surgery could I start
running
again and he'd said 4 weeks - so today was the day!

Growing Old Disgracefully but Sensibly!
From what I have read today, (this is all
running
related) the age thing is not such a big deal, in fact keeping
running
beyond age 70 is a major plus, but there are things that I could have been doing to help myself.

June Walking Challenge: Mixing it up
Rowing, I could start quite quickly again, and I had to find a way to walk to work as usual, but
running
and more active walking had to wait.

Are you a parent or carer and are looking to quit smoking or vaping?
Asthma and Lung UK are

a month after a marathon - long run?
This weekend I am able to get out and am keen to do so as we’re away on hols in a couple of weeks which will lose more
running
opportunities. Question to you seasoned marathoners on here. How long do I look at for a first long run back? In other words how much endurance is lost in a month?

First run check in.
Is it normal for it to feel slow when
running
sometimes? Like you wanna run faster but you cant? My resting HR is normally about 60-70. My heart rate got upto 165bpm. Is that ok?

feeling down
The news is filled with how the stomach bug is
running
through my state. It already kind of went through my school that I work in but I’m nervous. I want to start going to the gym but after work I get anxious and just want to come home. I have therapy tomorrow night which will be good.

on the IC and running vicariously
well I am officially no exercise for at least 6 weeks and only gentle for the following 6. I have finally had my liver cyst done ( a fenestration - basically a large window cut in it so it doesn’t refill this times) and I am home now recovering. the op itself was fine but you do not realise how much

Garmin HM coach.
I’m on my second week of 1/2 marathon training with coach Greg on Garmin, but I am
running
less kms and slower than I would normally. As it’s my first Garmin coaching foray, I was wandering if this is normal to get everything back to basics? My usual
running
week is: 10k, 5k and 10k.

Support for a local group
We have a small heart support group in North East Cambridgeshire that has been
running
informally for a year now. We would like it to be possible to be viewed on the BHF list of support groups and perhaps be able to link in with the online and printed resources.
