Morning everyone. Its been quite some time ......

Having completed the program a few years ago I continued running regularly for 18 months and then the wheels fell off. Big time.

I don't think I recovered from Covid as afterwards I really struggled with running. I carried on though but it just became harder and harder. Then life got in the way and I lurched onto the slippery slope of booze and poor diet.

As my weight increased I really didn't enjoy looking in the mirror. Then when the chest pains started I knew I was on the way to another heart attack which was the kick start I needed.

I started the programme again and pleased to report I've worked back up and completed W6 R1.

It certainly hasn't been easy but gradually I'm learning how to run again. The key for me is just to go as slow as I need to.

I've got this πŸ‘

Apologies for the ramble.

Reading all your stories is the motivation I need so I huge thank you to you all.

Happy running everyone.

Welcome back! Sometimes I think it’s harder to come back again to running after sickness/injury than it is to start running in the first place. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
