Week 8 Run 1
Instead of
running
in the morning ai thought I'd change and bring the
running
in line with when I go to the gym. There is a reason for this, I use weights, etc when I'm the most fasted, so I'll eat about 7pm and the not eat until around 7pm the next night BUT I'll go to the gym around 5-6pm.

so here I am again 🎶 😄🏃🏻♀️🐌🍁
it’s been a while… Stuff happening (nothing major)…weather too hot, too wet…maximum faffage… …anyway, no serious
running
for a few months, but yesterday I awake to a sunny autumn equinox, and decided it was a sign that it was time to reawaken my
running
mojo… So what do you do?

ROWING: Getting ready for the hot weather
I’m still taking it easy as my calf strain recedes, but I can feel it’s improving quickly and I should be able to start
running
and rowing again in a few days.

It made me think of the Guardian article on slow
running
that Dexy5 posted here recently: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2023/jul/24/slow-
running
-revolution-sexy-pace-enjoy-the-race?

Out of action and a bit gutted...
Hi everyone, I took up
running
a year ago and have really enjoyed 'the journey' of seeing my fitness improve, my outlook brighten and being able to go further than I thought possible. BUT, it's come at a cost.

Week 6 was hard!
I love it when I realise I've been thinking about something else (not
running
) while still
running
. I'm holding on to those breakthroughs! The right playlist is essential and it'd be great to hear what gives other people's legs wings. Because I run so slowly, tracks with 75-85bpm are perfect.

Racking up those parkruns, following a phase of running anxiety
I started
running
seriously back in January 2022, and since about 6 weeks ago I would never dream of actually
running
outside away from they safety of a treadmill.

Can't seem to lose weight I gained back!
My workouts included
running
, lifting, and HIIT routines. When I first started
running
, I could hardly run a block. At my best, I was
running
between 5-10k every other day at least. I regularly go to the gym and use machines like the stair master for about half an hour or so.

parkrun
I am really enjoying
running
and was thinking of doing my first park run tomorrow? Is it too soon? I know I would have to walk a lot and I haven’t really ran infront of people before so quite nervous! Thoughts would be appreciated! Thankyou :)

Where to go from here?
😭 Therefore money is already
running
out. I could fund another round but am reluctant to keep trying the same thing again so any suggestions?

GRADUATE CHAT...OCTOBER...WEEK 3...COME on IN...YOU are WELCOME.
I challenge you to choose a song that you listen to when
running
...or of you don't listen then think of a song you know, and make up some
running
related words to it! Or at least one verse! I'll start you off... I used this, a couple of years ago... with HUGE apologies to ABBA !

Back at 30 minutes post injury 🥳
I guess that's why they have pacer in
running
groups! I am going to try using songs for pacing (bpm as spm). Any other recos for how to get there
running
solo?

Running machine...? No thanks...😎😁
Despite the title of my post, I just wanted to applaud those of you who complete the C2-5K on a
running
machine. I completed the program road and trail
running
and now take part (on and off) in a local ParkRun.

CATCH-up-CORNER...WEEK 2... BABY... it's COLD OUTSIDE !
In adverse weather, consider
running
loops closer to home rather than tackling a long 'out and back' run. Just common sense really?
Running
on the snow? This is , I feel a really useful read... https://www.runandbecome.com/
