Just for fun: Black Friday bargains!
One of my favourite things about
running
is buying
running
kit and I absolutely love a bargain! I thought it might be fun to share our shopping… Anybody ordered/bought anything they’re pleased with?

Leg pain and struggling to run in the cold
Im not sure if this is because of
running
in the freezing weather or something else. I will repeat the run so as not to cheat a run 😂 but wondered if there are any tips for dealing with what feels like a build up of lactic acid in my legs.

Running as an informal carer
I
did

also
complete 60 minutes 🏃♀️ with an overall sexy pace of 09:18 km/h of non-stop
running
(yes, I never stopped
running
while doing the above!) and the Pride 5K along the way!

Advice, please
At the age of 59, I completed Couch to 5 km about 7 years ago, surprising myself by regularly
running
5K 2 or 3 times a week, usually on a
running
machine :-). Previously I'd only ever run a bath. Due to one thing or another, this dropped off, and I would like to get back to this level.

Running after Hip Replaced
I have been told that due to this my
running
days are over ( not that I was actually much of a runner…more a very slow jogger!) but I just wondered what other people’s experiences are?

week 7 run 2
Two months ago I was stressing about
running
for two minutes at a time, now 25 mins feels like a breeze! I did have to do week 5 run 1 three times before I felt ready to move on, but that’s the good thing about this system, there is scope for you to do this.

Second time around
I really enjoy
running
but find the consistency difficult, any recommendations? Now, where did I put the knee supports.......?

🎉 5th Runniversary 🎉
In my haste to make my runniversary post I neglected my tradition of adding a photo of old
running
shoes going to the shoe (recycling) shop in the sky! This pair survived about 1200 km of
running
and lived for another 300 to 500 km walking and hiking 😯. This is unusual.

2024: W30R1 - Shorter trip today in -10°C
I'm glad I didn't give up
running
today. How it will be this week is not at all certain. I probably won't be able to run on Friday. So we'll see. :-) Happy

Another head clearer….
I must be setting off at just the right pace because I am lasting the whole run with a bit left in the tank…I’m already looking forward to my next run…I don’t know about spring being in the air but I’ve def got a spring in my step when I’m
running
at the moment!!!
