Another hot slow one
Nope, if I've gone to the effort of putting on my
running
gear I might as well carry on. Coach Bennett likes to say that every run has a purpose. I decided that today's purpose was to actively embrace slow
running
and keeping my heartrate down.

Why we run…🎬🏃🏽🏃♀️🏃🏾♂️
The first video is a 12 min charity-commissioned film about the transformative power of
running
. It ends with the poem, “I Run On” by Molly Case, which is also featured in the second short video from the
Running
Channel. Thought there may be folk on here who will appreciate them? Enjoy!

Running apps! What do you use - looking to move 😬
If I do switch I don’t want to have to do it again as I do like seeing all my
running
history…

Keep on trying
I'm fine the first 5/6 months of
running
. I'm thinking maybe at age 64 it's my feet telling me to give up! Well done to everyone giving it ago. Keep on trying, it doesn't matter how long it takes.

Downloaded app!
I recently read an article about the benefits of short ‘brisk’ walks for getting fitter rather than long slow ones (I wonder if that is the same for
running
🤔 - although I have one
running
pace, very slow 😂).

Home work week 7 completed
Both of them are run team leaders for our local
running
club! My son in law put up a comment today saying yesterday was his 5yr post C25K which had done on the later stages of this trail as he didn’t want people to see him
running
as he was so unfit!

Running out of time...advice welcome
Hi all - I just turned 44 last week and have had a negative result (after 2WW) this morning. I started my solo journey in 2019 and was told to go find a sperm donor/straws in Feb 2020...and COVID really mucked that up. I finally managed 2xICI in 2022 - one chemical, the other resulted in nothing. I started
