I am putting this out just in case you aren’t aware of the Food Bank Run initiative. This is a campaign which encourages runners to run to a food bank with some food at a time when they are most in need of donations. Running clubs, parkruns and individuals are registering and taking part from Lands End to John O’Groats. The running community helping the local community ❤️

hi Dexy, just for awareness for readers - I know I’ve said the same on your other post

one of my local parkruns does ‘bring one thing, a packet or a tin’ once a month as a collection for the local food bank - it works really well

That’s great Madge! It’s so lovely to see parkrun helping the local community, and that bring one thing scheme does help by keeping regular donations to the food banks.
