running
. I’m on my feet all day at work on concrete floors which won’t help but the day after a run my feet are in bits any advice apart from find a new job .

Strange insight
Running
today I realised that after a while I start shuffling my feet as I run. In am not lifting them very high. As a result I end up falling if the ground suddenly raises a bit.Does anyone else noticed this. I have to learn to pick my feet up. 🤕😄

I thought this article about knee health and
running
may be of interest: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2024/feb/10/i-thought-i-would-never-run-again-how-i-overcame-runners-knee

Calf pain
I only started
running
again quite recently after stopping for about 35years, now after every third or fourth run my right calf starts hurting and i have to take several days off. After a day or two it feels fine again I start
running
again and the cycle begins again.

Very little holiday running 😎
But I have done other stuff, just not
running
. So the weekend at home beckons, as do the
running
shoes and we'll have to see how it goes. Hopefully any lost fitness will return and the determination to get back into my stride, quite literally. Adios, and happy
running
from a hot and sunny Spain.

ET and anaemia
I have ET with my platelets
running
at around 1200. I take aspirin, (another condition makes medication tricky). My last GP appt I had a blood test and I'm anaemic. This is the first time this has happened so its a bit concerning. Having them repeated so fingers crossed it will have been a blip

seasonal, 40+ hormonal runner back again!
Hi, this is my 3rd time doing the c25k - 3rd year
running
- Ive been lucky to complete each time and although very slow I do get to 5k, normally finishing the programme
running
for 30mins, and progress to around 43min for 5k distance, then get to 35mins.

Still not covering 5K
I’ve just completed Week 9 run 1 and even though I’m
running
for the full 30 mins and doing the 10 mins walking I’m still only up to 4.6k. I can’t run any faster than I’m going at the moment. Just wondering if anyone else has found the same?

Mammogram run!!
It was a glorious run in gorgeous sunshine along, for the most part, unfamiliar lanes for
running
. Past a golf course, seeing happy golfers in the distance, a number of walkers and a horse rider before reaching my familiar
running
territory. 5.5k done in a respectable time for me.

Treadmill running.... how fast or slow?
I returned to
running
yesterday after nightly knees. As the forest path is now more of a river, I used a treadmill. I'm happy that my knees felt ok. But I didnt know how to set the treadmill. I put it on a 1% gradient, and about 4.3km an hour. So a slow run.

Today was a walking day and the sun was shinning for the complete walk (12000) steps) it was blowing a gale but with sun which was nice. tomorrow back to
running
, going to repeat week 9 run 3 so that should work out to be an easy run 🏃♂️🏃♂️

raised FIT test
But have been struggling with bowels more and more in recent months, needing to go more often, especially whilst
running
. A lot of blood dark and clot like appearance after
running
and for a day or so and more loose stools and skinny stools.
