seasonal, 40+ hormonal runner back again!
Hi, this is my 3rd time doing the c25k - 3rd year
running
- Ive been lucky to complete each time and although very slow I do get to 5k, normally finishing the programme
running
for 30mins, and progress to around 43min for 5k distance, then get to 35mins.

Post IC Run 3
I did the
running
segments at +.5 kph compared to my usual slow pace. No issues, didn't even peg my HR, not that I was aiming to but I found that interesting, I may have to try a longer run at that pace when I'm fully back to fitness. Loved every minute of the run! Happy
running
everyone!

Anti Chafing running tops?
I’m not sure why but I’m suddenly getting chafing on the inside of both inner arms near my armpit! Wearing the same shirt sleeve tops as always so a bit puzzled. Does anyone have any clothing recommendations to prevent this or any other tips? Thanks!

Sore feet
Tried soaking feet, moisturising feet, ice pack after
running
. Eases after rest days but happens again as soon as I do a run... Any advice. I really don't want to give up!

C25K training
Hi Runners I completed week 5 run 3 twice as I found
running
for 20 minutes quite hard. So I started week 6 other day as I’m training for transplant Games in August. I would like to do the park run aswell. Thanks

Mammogram run!!
It was a glorious run in gorgeous sunshine along, for the most part, unfamiliar lanes for
running
. Past a golf course, seeing happy golfers in the distance, a number of walkers and a horse rider before reaching my familiar
running
territory. 5.5k done in a respectable time for me.

Keeping Going part ?
Been keeping myself going by doing
running
on the spot and some weights. This morning I did a Youtube vertual 5k in the London Marathon by
running
on the spot, the rest to be completed as and when the weather dictates.

Strange insight
Running
today I realised that after a while I start shuffling my feet as I run. In am not lifting them very high. As a result I end up falling if the ground suddenly raises a bit.Does anyone else noticed this. I have to learn to pick my feet up. 🤕😄

🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️ London Marathon day! Goals and inspiration! (April Catch up Corner week4) 🏃🏃🏃
The biggest
running
event in the UK. I’ve been watching the coverage and loving the stories of real life people who started
running
and are taking on the 26.2 miles, often raising hundreds of pounds for charity. I should have had a box of tissues ready for all the emotional tears!

Running after Covid (again)
Anyone got any good tips for
running
after illness (psychologically as much as anything - it's hard to pick up where I left off in terms of confidence)?

Average Running Speed?
Hello! I was curious what is the average speed at which you guys run/jog? I know many mayn't keep a track but if possible, do let me know. I am jogging at 9km/hr (or 6.67min/km) on treadmill. Edited: Added min/km for convenience

Really struggling with the fear that I'm going to have another fall while running
I had a nasty fall in May last year when I tripped on a gravel path while
running
. I messed my face up in a big way and damaged my shoulder. I've back
running
since the autumn and I'm pretty OK when I'm on the grass but when I'm
running
on a hard surface I get very nervous.

I’m now on w7r2 I decided to get some new
running
shoes I took advice given by others and went to my gait checked out - now the proud owner of a pair of bright red trecking runners as I run along the canal best £125 I’ve spent in a long time

First ever 10K done!
This year I really wanted to be more consistent with my
running
as I’ve never really stopped
running
but there have definitely been occasions where I’ve not been
running
as regularly as I’d have liked.
