holiday insurance

I had COPD about ten years ago, had quit smoking four years before, but got a lot better losing weight exercise etc, and was taken of oxygen three years ago. and since have made six two to four hour flights OK. When applying for travel insurance, saying had oxygen at home cost is approx. £300.00 if not had oxygen at home £60.00 how many years has there to be before stating not had oxygen at home.

Thank you

I think this depends on the wording of the application form. Some will put a timescale on it others will say "have you ever........". But you need to read the small print as well, what ever it says, as not declaring something that is mentioned in the small print or in the main doc. can invalidate the insurance. Insurance companies can be very rigid in their operations.

Yes very rigid indeed and it seems in most cases will try to find a way of not paying claims so as Andy said be very careful in completing the forms.
