Has anyone ever had RSD/CRPS and also gotten chronic tendonitis/tendinosis in both wrists?
I posted this in the pain concern but I figured someone here might have CRPS/RSD which is what I have. I have full body crps/rsd in all four limbs. Usually I take Tramadol and it controls my pain 100%. Thank God. However I injured myself in June doing physical therapy exercises in order to try to strengthen

Trip to the Physio; the verdict!!
First, thanks for all of the helpful responses this week. It’s funny how we can go for weeks without any running issues and then, out of the blue, chaos descends ( there may be a tiny measure of literary overstatement there, but hey, it’s Friday!) As expected, my physio found tight hamstrings, quads

In so much pain and feeling poorly
Hi folks, Last Friday while squeazing the edge of the mattress into the corner of a fitted sheet I had an excruciating shooting pain across the middle of my back. After that I could barely do anything without serious pain. Ever since, I've been falling asleep all day, had nausea, bloating & painful

Growing Old Disgracefully but Sensibly!
It has been an odd week! It started off on Monday with my coming up 2k short on my planned 15k run (note..this post will be bleat free I promise). Things came to a head this morning when Mrs BC and I ran into to a person I know (but not from running) and Mrs BC mentioned Monday and the conversation

Exercises and do they work
I have just started to get the leg pains especially when walking. I have posted before and had some lovely response. I just wanted to ask if exercises do actually help with pain. I have been doing the group of core, hip and pelvis exercises given to me by physio. Three weeks now and not missed one

Fibro & Physio treatments UK
Physiotherapy
is uneffective for me. Also a physiotherapist who I visited for sciatica treatment stated it. I asked about hot wax or anything like that and she told me that the wax is "unhygienic".

Bone pain or it is muscle pain?
Hi there. I've been on hydroxy since diagnosis for ET in July 2022. In Dec 2022, I had a painful coccyx and sacrum area. This extended to painful hips and thighs. Going from sitting to standing - everything is very stiff and uncomfortable. I loosen up after a few steps but have been very worried

brief sharp pain in anus followed by tingling
Had a stroke couple of years ago. Due to excellent physio I am improving remarkably well. Surprisingly the most unpleasant part is I sleep well at about 6 am I am worked up with acute pain in my anus accompanied by this unpleasant tingling sensation around my bowels. It is often alleviated by a poop

endometriosis or arthritis
Hi all, just to tell you a little something about me so that you understand why I’m asking this - I have pretty poor health: I have hypothyroidism, endometriosis, adenomyosis and my vitamin levels tend to be low so probably some difficulty with absorption - I supplement my vitamin d (20000 in weekly

Starting C25K again for fourth time....
Back after 7 weeks on the IC with ankle ligament damage. My very strict physio says I can try a run, but to build up gradually and start with short intervals if I don't want to risk another injury. So it seems a perfect solution to re-do C25K! I first completed the programme 5 years ago, then a second

update on knee pain
As most of you will probably know, I injured my knee on holiday at the end of June, when my knee would buckle. Over the months Drs have always been more concerned that my back or pelvis was injured with a fall in the shower, due to the knee buckling. I had CT scans and MRIof the spine and pelvis, but

Endocrine issues
I am a 72 yo female. Panhypopituitary due to removal of tumor on pituitary gland when I was 63 yo. My health has been steadily going down hill since then. At least once a month my face swells up, as it is at the moment. I feel lathergic and down right miserable, just don't want to talk with anyone
