Thank you allfor replies on Leflunomide and peripheral neuropathy. I did look on forum but didn't find anything that seemed as alarming as I felt mine was, with the muscle wasting and skeletal hands. Heron, thanks for physio suggestion, I have been doing my best to exercise hands, but I mght be better seeing a professional.

It is a rare effect and that, combined with the fact leflunomide is not actually used very much in PMR, means there aren't many reports of reactions - just questions asked about using it. However - we are aware of it and will always tell someone considering leflunomide it is a possibility even if their doctors don't know and mention it.
It will take time to recover - things can go wrong very quickly, they rarely recover at the same speed!! And yes, I think a physio referral would be a very good idea.
