Shoulder pains
Have been suffering pain in both shoulders for last three months. Worse pain in right one. Five weeks ago had injections in both (unguided). Some relief but only lasted couple weeks and pain is back with a vengeance. Am only taking paracetamol for pain - naproxen never worked and tramadol made me violently

Feeling Frustrated
Hi, Had an acute lupus flare up nearly 4 months ago. I had a red fiery rash all over my body which has now died down and left me with blotchy marks on my body and arms. I have no energy and feeling exhausted all the time. I was hoping to return to work next week but I'm not fit enough. Just got over

NSAIDS affecting blood tests
Good evening, just a quick question. Does Naproxen lower the CRP and ESR levels ? Nurse trying to get me accepted for biologics, she asked if I would be willing to stop mtx for a month to see if it will make my crp rise, but I can ring straight away if too much discomfort. Wondered after about Naproxen

Knee Pain
Hi, I'm new here too. I have suffered knee pain for nearly 5 years and it's getting to the point where it's really getting me down now. It started in my right knee after I fell down a flight of stairs and landed on my knee. The pain would come and go but got worse until it was almost constant. I had

Eventful week
After a busy and draining week, I'm sat here in the lovely sunshine. Wednesday was a long, exhausting and emotional day starting out with my routine blood checks to then go straight to work (I've been off now for 7 months) to receive my written warning about my prolonged absence. This lasted 2 hours.

UPDATE, AND NOW HAVE A RASH
Just thought I would give an update. I rang my Doctor's surgery yesterday to see if the results were back following chest x-ray I had week last Thursday, due to cough and breathlessness following increase of Methotrexate. I was told the results are not back yet and will be at least another week. Just

How can I manage
At last my appointment is getting close, been waiting since April. I've been told that I have to stop taking all pain killers at least 48 hrs before my appointment so they can get a true blood test. I'm on Naproxen 500mg twice a day & co-codamol 30/500 up to 4 times a day. Just don't know if I will

Sea update
Hi all, so had sea assessment today with hubby there for support. The nurse seemed quite clued up on fibromyalgia. Was there for over an hour, audio taped which she gave me a copy off. Loads of questions, but very pleasant in her manner. At end she said I know it's difficult but try not to worry I think

Legs giving away
Morning It is hot! Just wondering if anyones legs give way frequently? Mine gives way without warning and usually with a sharp burning pain daily. It can be several times a day. Also I started taking Naproxen, and wondered if it has something to do with this being increased. Thank you Karen xxx

Inflammatory Arthritis - My Diagnosis?
From what I can see Inflammatory Arthritis is an umbrella term, and can cover several diseases, so I'm non the wiser really. My Rheumatologist came to this diagnosis after my ultrasound highlighted inflammation in both my hands and wrists. She also said I have some ana in my blood, but could not sure
