Legs giving away
Morning It is hot! Just wondering if anyones legs give way frequently? Mine gives way without warning and usually with a sharp burning pain daily. It can be several times a day. Also I started taking Naproxen, and wondered if it has something to do with this being increased. Thank you Karen xxx

Inflammatory Arthritis - My Diagnosis?
From what I can see Inflammatory Arthritis is an umbrella term, and can cover several diseases, so I'm non the wiser really. My Rheumatologist came to this diagnosis after my ultrasound highlighted inflammation in both my hands and wrists. She also said I have some ana in my blood, but could not sure

Holiday?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with RA in late April this year and I'm now on Methotrexate, Hydroxychloroquine, Sulfasalazine, and Naproxen with Tramadol/Co-codamol for pain relief. I had a steroid injection (in my backside) in April which is now wearing off and the flare is coming back. My RA is in both hands

Frustrated
I have had RA since October, have been on methotrexate 4 times now each time my Liver Enzymes are out of control, had been on naproxen for over a year now and it was the only drug that took my pain away they have taken me off that now because of the liver enzymes, which I understand. They have left me

Hi everyone, hope you are having a good day. Just thought I would give an update. Haven’t managed to get in to work today, feeling very tired and sore after having my joints squeezed, bent and twisted every way yesterday. Saw my Rheumatology Nurse and was so pleased for this appointment as I am beginning

NSAIDs reduce progesterone and ovulation
Many women with endo take NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) for endo pain e.g. ibufrofen, naproxen etc. This article explains how it has been observed that these drugs reduce ovulation and also reduce progesterone. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-3124640/Are-pain-drugs-making-INFERTILE-Naproxen-diclofenac-significantly-inhibit-ovulation-just

Getting worse
I've written on here once before and really appreciated the help and support I got. I have RA in my knees and I'm curious as to whether it is able to spread to just one finger? I have an appointment on Thursday. I'm on sulfasalazine and apparently it's not tackling the problem, I'm also on naproxen and

unbelievable!
I find out last night that my GP practice has been closed with immediate effect by CQC for unsafe practice, so left blowing in the wind. That's very encouraging ...not . especially as my GP there, although a locum was very supportive. After much research this am have now registered with an0ther practice
