New to all of this... some advice and support would be so great 😊
Hey all! I’m new to Endometriosis as a whole... I’ve heard about it before, but never really understood what it was... until a couple of months ago, I went to my GP with ungodly menstrual cramps, and she is 99% sure I have it. I’ve always suffered from painful periods, but as I’ve got older (especially

Hi everyone. :) I am new to this, having literally signed up about 5 minutes ago. I have arthritis in my hands, spine and feet, plus a healthy dose of Fibromyalgia sprinkled on top. Lol I have Buprenorphine patches, naproxen and cocodamol for the pain. It takes the edge off, but today my feet were hurting

More Meds
Just back from a "today" appt at GP. I take 14 different meds for PMR, high BP, hypothyroidism, osteoarthritis. I had a AF episode 2 weeks ago and had to go to A&E. There was slight UTI too. This has not cleared with self medication on Mannose and caused 2 changes of clothes yesterday as crutches slow

Pain advice
Hi guys :) Can everyone tell me what they take for pain... Today is supposed to be the first day of my cycle (2nd one since last lap) and the pain is unbearable. Last month it was so bad and felt like I was having contractions (I don’t have children but did have a ‘medical termination’ after a miscarriage

Sciatic pain
Hi ladies, I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience or has any advice. I’m waiting for my second lap. Before I had my first one I would often get the sensation that I couldn’t put my foot flat on the ground before I had a severe attack of endo pain that would make me lose consciousness. Thankfully

Newbie 👋
Hi everyone I’ve just been diagnosed after a number of ruling out tests and a good 3 years of constant pain. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid a good 15 years ago so have always had some form of pain or brain fog as well as the fatigue. Anyway after a couple years of visits to the doctors

Pain Relief??!!
Hi all, I came off my period on Tuesday but since yesterday I’ve had such horrendous back pain, the bottom of my back is really sore even to touch, and I have sciatic pain all the way down from the bum to my thighs. I’m on Naproxen and co-codamol but nothing is touching the pain. A hot water bottle

Evening primrose oil for pain/discomfort
Does it help anyone else with the pelvic and lower back pain? I do not have a firm diagnosis of endometriosis (hence not going on suggested Visanne yet, will do more diagnostics in my home country for less), but it worked for me when naproxen and diclofenac completely failed. In case you consider it

VM 3 times
I've had VM 3 times. The first was when I was 18 (1983) shortly after a car accident & it was intense but resolved after about one week. The second time was in 2011, was a milder case but lasted a bit longer - around 10 days. This time has been worse. I was hospitalized twice after battling it for

Hi I am looking for advice and tips on how to manage stiffness in my hands and feet. I have been diagnosed with lupus for 3 years and am currently 35 weeks pregnant, meaning I can’t take naproxen etc which I would previously take. The pregnancy hasn’t been a simple one with my lupus flaring so also

Tens Machines?!?
Hi all, I’m at the end of my tether with pain relief. Nothing seems to work very well. Currently on Naproxen and Co-codamol at night but they simply take the edge off the pain. I can’t take anything stronger cause I have to function, work and have 2 kids!! Has anyone used a tens machine for pain relief

Frustrated by my memory loss
Hi everyone, This is my first time posting and I'm really confused, frustrated and not even sure if should be in this group. Way back in my late teens (I'm now aged 50) I was doing what was then called a BTec which I think now translates as a HND in care work. I worked in all areas and went on to be

What now? Knee pain.
I have complained a few times of pains in my knees so did get X-rays done. Signs of sclerosis and effusion which I think is interpretation of radiographer and my GP says that means there is swelling. Bones and joints looking normal if that’s any consolation! That was two weeks ago but my left knee is

Hi. I have yet again been referred to consultant for my endo. I had a lap last December and they excised what they could see but it didn't really help with my pain. Went back to GP who referred again for another lap. However consultant said no point in doing another if 1st didn't stop pain. So has suggested
