Pain killer advice
I am currently taking co codamol 30/500 and naproxen, these are my everyday meds, the problem is I think I need something when the pain gets unbearable, the doctor keeps suggesting tramadol but I’m worried this will be too strong, is anyone on tramadol or something similar that helps? That’s obviously

Using Naproxen
Morning everyone, I have not been on this site for some time but even though I am managing to reduce my medication I still have bad days. Yesterday I woke up and every part of my body seemed to hurt. I am getting over rotator cuff surgery and I need a knee replacement but yesterday was a bad day.

So after 5 years of suffering in pain and countless doctor and a&e appointments while being on codeine, paracetamol, tramadol, gabapentin, naproxen, buscopan every day at maximum doses he has finally agreed to refer me to a pain clinc since I have been diagnosed with endometriosis, before I got the diagnosis

Tales of a stage 4+ endo warrior
Hello Endo Warriors I wanted to share my story as so many of you have given me the courage to do so. I've always had painful debilitating periods, the usual over the counter and prescribed pain relief and 'IBS' treatments didn't work. Luckily in 2003 on an overseas trip I discovered the magical powers

IC update - anyone any advice on back supports?
So further to yesterday's post I have now managed to see a GP for my lower back pain. I have been prescribed Naproxen and Co Codamol for the immediate pain and referred to a physio. The doctor also suggested a back support whilst running, does anyone use one or have any reccomendations?

Newbie introduction
Hi I'm new and just like to introduce myself. I was diagnosed with RA about 2 years ago and it came as quite a shock - never had any serious illness all my life. I am retired and used to lead an active life (walking, gardening, car repair), now I'm struggling some days to do basic activities, but slowly

MRI Result. All clear.
I was worried. Noticed a lot of mistakes as I type. All sorts of minor things. Surely I was developing ALD. But no. I am in the clear. See the pic? On the right is last year. Plenty of bright areas on account of the contrast medium. On the left is today. Clean as a whistle. Panic over (for another

Pregabalin and Naproxen
Have just joined here. After 20+ years taking cocodamol I'm now on Pregabalin and Naproxen. The pain much better but feeling very woozy all day. Some of you must have experienced the same, is it likely to improve?

Waiting for diagnosis of Endo
Hi :) I don't know very much about endometriosis but have been told it could be what's causing my pain. I started my periods age 11 and they have always been painful and heavy from day one. My mum was worried so repeatedly took me to see my GP but we were told the same old thing it's "normal" you're

Splotchy hands
I’m just wondering if anyone experiences easy bruising on fingers and palms with visible grey veins and little grey bumps. It comes and goes but I see it mostly when my hands feels cold and when I use a hand held electric mixer (the mixer gives me bruises). My first RA symptoms appeared late August
