Newbie :) hello everyone! (and a bit of a winge)
Hello everyone! Newbie here! It's really comforting to find this site and know I'm not alone with endometriosis and all of its troubles and to have somewhere to talk. Although I have really supportive friends, I do sometime feel as though they think I'm a bit of a hypachondriac and I feel like I winge

Reduced migraine attacks
Hi, for years i have been suffering from chronic head pain and migraines. After fighting for a long time, I eventually got to see a specialist neurologist in London. She prescribed duloxetine, strong dose of vitamin B, and detoxification of all my medication before starting the new regime as well

xofigo update
Had my third Xofigo injection this week. Xofigo injections are easy and take only about five minutes once a month for six months. So far, little to no side effects. Blood tests have all looked good. PSA down to 1.15 from a high of 9 a few months ago. Testosterone 15. About 2 weeks after my second injection

B12/ loss of another dog.stomach ulcer.
My husband and I and my son are very low in b12 we have been supplementing as previously posted. My husband and I still have symptoms of low b12. I wondered if it was possible for someone on injections to pm the German website to get injections. I know I can get it from Cyprus but the last time I used

Pain meds, what else is there?
I've tried paracetamol, Ibruprofen, mefenamic acid, naproxen, Solpadol, Tramadol, diplofenic. Nothing works in any combo or if it does it gives up before I'm allowed another dose. What else can I take!

Chemist
Picking up Naproxen today and overheard pharmacy staff commenting that I take to much. Felt like saying yes I know I do but how else am I supposed to manage pain. So annoyed right now. Perhaps she would like to tell my consultant how to do her job 🤔

New! Meds and working.
Hi all! After a long two year battle and various tests and blood tests and everything else you could think of, I have recently in the last few weeks been diagnosed with Fibro. Left Hand Knuckle Replacement
Hello everyone, I thought I would drop in and let you know that on Monday, 7th July 2016, I had the knuckles replaced on my left hand. I was awake for the duration of the operation which took 2 hours 20 minutes. Normally it takes 90 minutes and as a consequence of the length of time taken, the tourniquet

last two blogs attached... I'm failing on the technology front!!
The dinner is in the Dog... July 8th I went out for just a couple of hours, both boys were in and came home to find the dog in a food coma and 99% of an entire roast chicken gone! Did neither of them notice him trying to eat the biggest cooked chicken ever as quickly as possible? I duly chastised my

5 months on...
5 months ago my GP mentioned Endometriosis to me. A few days later my period arrived and the agony continued. That sparked my first post in this forum. But I'm now at a stage with this illness where I'm feeling isolated. No one around me gets it. They ask 'What kind of pain?', 'How are you feeling?',

Just when I thought things were getting better...
... the other half shipped me off to hospital because I felt like someone was pushing a big stick into the top of my head. Combine this with a battering headache, neck ache, nausea and only just being able to walk from the car, and you'll be about there. In fairness, the doctor was very thorough. He

Confused about treatment...
I was diagnosed with endo back in December. I didn't even think that I would be getting that diagnosis, I had always assumed all the pain I had was down to a cyst I had..lol..wish that it had been cause now that's been removed and then my pain would be ended.. but sadly no. I had a copper coil put in

Help, has anyone else got mental health problems and RA? Causing medication problems.
Hi everyone have just joined this amazing site. I was diagnosed with RA exactly a year ago, and things have just gone from bad to worse. I am in constant pain and often can't bear to move. I suffer terrible fatigue and even the smallest tasks are often beyond me. Just when I think the pain couldn't possibly
