Teenager in chronic pain
My 15 yr old daughter has joint hypermobility syndrome and is in constant, chronic pain. Shes been prescribed low dose Naproxen but these dont really touch the pain. Because she is a "child" GP cannot prescribe meds he feels might provide more relief as they are unlicensed for children. She is taking

Adenomyosis
Ladies who have been diagnosed with adenomyosis what treatment are you on? I've had excision surgery by a specialist at a BSGE centre in January. Since then I've been in so much pain, I think from my uterus, which the surgeon said they could see it embedded into it. I'm at a loss I can barely do anything

Pain when reducing Pred
Hi I was diagnosed with PMR in July 2016 and all symptoms disappeared overnight after being prescribed 25mg of pred. I've been reducing very slowly and am currently on 8,1/2 & 9 on alternate days. I'm writing because I'm sure I read on this forum somewhere , that a good way to tell if any pain is PMR

This is how I should have put my first post on my RA. Sorry if I offended anyone .so I started my journey of healing around xmas 2015 and was in a bad way. I work 6 days per week and was exhausted all the time through the pain. I stumbled on a friend telling me to try bicarbonate of soda and it was amazing

My biggest symptom of having an underactive thyroid is myxodema. I swell up and go up at least about 6 dress sizes. Lately I have had T3 supply issues and having run out of my T3 for 3 weeks and waiting for a new batch I went up three dress sizes and have put on nearly a stone. I know its mucin. I went
