Hi, I have the same issue as most of you ladies here. For nearly 18 months now, for a year of that I've been blagging the doctor over it. An evil dull ache in my lower pelvis on the right side causing an ache down the front of my right thigh, I have shooting pains too but not sure if that's connected & I've been diagnosed with Sciatica a year ago. My pelvic pain also aches/shoots right across my tummy to the other side, pain was so bad the other night I nearly went to A&E but I hate feeling like I'm creating a drama. I went to see a doctor again the next day & she poked & prodded but didn't have a clue what it could be because all the tests I've had done for it over the last year have come back clear. I felt a little dismissed by her coz she sent me away just doubling my dose of Naproxen which aren't even helping one bit & just telling me to go to A&E if I it doesn't improve, no referral. When she pressed on my tummy it was tender but she said it was just strained muscles yet this ache is still there π. It feels like they're not bothered & you feel like a hypercondriac. But I was almost in tears while talking with her & have been in tears over the last year with this a lot. It's emotionally stressful.
Blood tests are clear, swab tests are clear, ultrasound plus invasive clear... Can't remember what else I've had done tbh. Not much more I don't think. After reading these posts it looks like I have a long way to push further.
I don't fancy sitting in A&E for several hours, i cant afford time off work, my job is highly physical too π. Thankfully they were understanding today, but how long can they be understanding for when a doc can't diagnose your pain.
Standing & walking it hurts the most. I get some minor relief when I sit down. It's better when I lie down though & apply some heat. I don't have periods because of the Noriday I take so it's not my cycle.
I do get a rank discharge though, I am in belief it could be PID which eventually comes from Chlamydia or gonorreah but my STI results came back clear. I had Chlamydia years ago in my early 20s, I'm now 36. So it can't be from then. Usually people who get PID are in their 20s so I've a feeling the doc will rule that out as soon as they know my age. It's irritating they always do that, rule a condition out coz you not in the age category π€
