I am travelling in Canada and have not packed enough of my diclofenac tablets. Local pharmacy has said as mine are prescription only that naproxen will be ok. I have had this before so ok with this. Hi I wonder if anyone can help me please? For the last two years, I have been getting burning and aching in my shins, which during this time has got worse. It started not long after I had my hysterectomy. I don't know if this has any significance at all. It started with the odd burn and now 2 years on

Not diagnosed yet. Just need some reassurance. As the pain I'm having doesn't seem to be what everyone else has discribed ☹️.
Hi, not sure where to start really. I've been having pain in my right shoulder for coming on to 2years now. It started as what I can only describe as a cold in my shoulder then started to really irate me it would last for a few hours. I then got pregnant and I was waking up in pain a few nights a week

Results say borderline hypothyroid
So my latest blood tests say borderline hypothyroid, but doctor said wait 3-6 months for retest... I have had trouble with my leg and hip, trouble walking too. So had a hip and lower back X-ray and told my si joint has reduced gap and basically I have degradation of both joints and lower back. I have

New to PMR!
I am very new to PMR! Had blood results last week and it was suspected I have PMR. Have suffered from groin and shoulder pain for a few months which I assumed weren't linked. I suffer from hip misalignment issues so assumes that this was linked to the groin pain. The onset of shoulder pain was a bit

Ana positive but not clear about the diagnosis
Hello first time to post. I went to the rheumatologist yesterday for the second visit. And I forgot to mention I get these clear blister type bumps on my fingers and hands, they itch! My Ana 640 speckled and positive. They ran some other test too, AnTi Scl 4.0 But I left office uncertain what exactly

Triamcinolone - anyone tried this?
Hello, I have just come across this drug, recommended for use against hay-fever and other allergies but co-incidentally also helping with RA pain. Does anyone have any experience of this drug please? As I've proved allergic to everything except Naproxen and Oramorph over the past 7 years, I'm curious

Feeling your pain...
Hi, I have the same issue as most of you ladies here. For nearly 18 months now, for a year of that I've been blagging the doctor over it. An evil dull ache in my lower pelvis on the right side causing an ache down the front of my right thigh, I have shooting pains too but not sure if that's connected

Newly diagnosed 64 year old with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Interstitial Lung Disease
Hi everyone. I haven't got a specific question, but rather I am still reeling from what has happened to me. A brief history. 64 year old male, retired, always been overweight (cuddly, not fat!), suffered from mild psoriasis all my life. Generally good health, but mildly Type II Diabetic for last 15 years

My experience with fibromyalgia ( newbie here)
Hi , I'm new to this site. Just feel I need to research on how other people get through living with fibromyalgia. It started with me a few years back with really bad tiredness and very weak. Then in my 3rd pregnancy I woke up one morning with stiffness and aching muscles and it went on from there. My
