Worse week ever ☹
Hello my dear friends, Apologies for the lack of responses from me for a while but I have had the worse couple of weeks. It started off with my eldest splitting up with his longtime gf (14 years) and he is in a bad place and my heart is broken for him. Long gone are the days where mommies kisses make

Back locked out . . . again
I'm at my wits end . . . I've lived & suffered with chronic low back pain for quite a few years. I'm prescribed buprenorphine, methocarbamol, naproxen and pregabalin, which affords me a mild degree of pain relief on good days, but every now and again, I turn or sneeze or do something really quite normal

3 weeks post lap - cramps like contractions
Hi lovelies, I had a treatment lap three weeks ago. Has taken me much longer to get up and about than I planned but definitely turned a corner this week. I know they lasered off a lot of the endo but my GP still doesn't have the details from the surgeon. I am planning to go back to work next week. I

20 y/o with bad sciatic nerve pain
Hello. So here's my story, 6 days ago I woke up with a horrible stabbing pain in my right buttock that radiated down my leg to about my knee. I was still able to hobble around the house at this point. The day and weeks prior I suffered no injuries, no back pain, and I am only 20 years old. This came

I can run 10km :-)
Week 6 run 2, and I broke the 10km barrier :-) It was a good morning for running, cloudy, breezy and a very light drizzle at times. I decided to take the run at what ever pace I felt comfortable with rather than trying to take it easy and slowly. After the last couple of speed runs I've done I know

Daily juggle
Hi everyone, I am new here, my name is Liz. I really wanted to share my story and see if any of you can give me some advice if you are in a similar scenario. I have had a pretty busy and stressful 5 years which has lead to the situation I am in now. About 18 months ago I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia

mirena inserted a week ago. pelvic/tummy pain horrendous and bowel trouble too =/
Hi peeps, I am relatively new to this forum. Had the mirena put in last week and the first few days, there was no pain (as i was under the influence of morphine/tramadol most likely) I had a biopsy done for uterine polyp and endo tissue for which i'm awaiting the results. Only 4 days of having the mirena

Slipped disc and sciatica
Hi Everyone, hope you can offer some advice :) I slipped a disc in my lower back in 2013 soon after having my daughter, which an MRI scan confirmed but the surgeon recommended swimming and Pilates first as there are a lot of risks with having the operation and for my age he didn't think it was worth

painkillers help
Hi I have not been on this site for a while. Seem to have lost touch with so many things lately. Just wondering if anyone can suggest anything to ease exhaustion. My doctor prescribed naproxen as a painkiller. However, I noticed it was not easing the aches and pains much, and not sure if this was

Not Again :(
Hello, I've suffered from endo since I was 18, I'm now 32. I've had 5 laparoscopies, the last being February last year after I had a cyst burst at the start of December 2015. During that one, they found the endo had spread to my urethra and they put a Mirena in. It took quite a while to recover from
