Walking #2: what if I could learn to love to walk? And Stride!
I had in the past explored the app-based walking
fitness
-tracker-game: The Walk, developed by the same people who created Zombies, Run.

Gremlins nearly got me again…. but I won!
Legs are tiring, I’ve lost so much
fitness
these last few months but it has been so perfect to be out and running. Nearly at 4k so sprint (slow sprint) over the bridge and stop the watch at 43 minutes. Keep running, be happy and if you are resting on the IC heal well

Has anyone else on here been suffering from Osgood Schlatters syndrome, or as some call it, Jumper's knees?
I desperately want to try and get some
fitness
back in my life but this painful syndrome is ruining any attempt I make. Anyone out there who is going through the same thing?

Half term runs - good time to run further
I am enjoying my runs and look forward to them, but am no longer enjoying my
fitness
exercises on my rest days, so i need to find something that i like doing for those days instead.

Late starter
But found
fitness
dropped off during the winter. So started the C25K, just using a treadmill at the moment until I get fit enough to go outside and not collapse after 5 minutes. Up to week 8, day 1 and so far so good.

Advice on exercise during IVF
Pole
fitness
is a lot of arm and core work, with holds around the stomach and thighs (also include some HIIT on warming up). Would it be an idea to stop these during IVF?

Back to 6k & pretty damn happy about it 😊
After a couple of months of ill health & then a knee injury last year I had to start off easy this year with short run/walks to make sure my knee would hold up & to get my

back up 🏃♀️🚶♀️🏃♀️ I'm having to be really patient as I think it was building back up to 10k far too quickly after being

Easing of covid restrictions
I’ve worked throughout covid as a lab manager and can do plenty of my job from home but work are not keen (as they require blood , sweat and tears) so I was going to ask the doctor for a
fitness
to work/ amendment form - can’t remember the specific name of it.

Some guidance please; 2nd time graduate
Of course, my aim is
fitness
anyhow. I don't intend to go for a 10k or marathon or any such feats; though if 'training' for them helps it'll be a boon. Thanks in advance and happy running. P.S. this time I did lose some weight too though I've been eating carefully as well.

Week 2 done
Bonus is I do feel great after, but once I have done this I will defo be looking for a non running based
fitness
challenge. Doing this, however, will hopefully give me better
fitness
for the summer fun stuff like coasteering, which I would like to do.

Bit low in energy
The pace was slow until I saw a beautiful sky, I then realised how lucky I am to have the
fitness
and ability to do this.

Back In The Groove
I still haven’t had my double hernia repaired but started a
fitness
regime aimed at getting a beach body and mainly included HIT training, which I can’t do too rigorously due to the hernias, but that’s going well and I’m losing weight.

Sunday morning 60 minute run! 😊
I decided earlier in the week that I need to start extending my running time if I’m going to regain my former
fitness
. I refused to listen to the gremlins today, got dressed into my running gear, light breakfast, coffee, stretches and and headed out. No faffing allowed! I had planned out my route.

Off the starting blocks
My first run showed me just how far away I am from my past
fitness
levels. But it’s a start. I might need a bit of encouragement though. So all tips and good news stories much appreciated x
