Pacemaker check
So I'm paced probably 95% of the time ( or more) I guess this is partly why after starting C25K back last summer, that I still can't run, my
fitness
is slightly better, as rather than run I fast pace walk, but, I'm still slightly disappointed that I can't run, but, equally grateful for what I can do.

Advice welcome on t3 dose
I have increased my activity a bit to improve
fitness
but I feel horrible after. I know my vit d is low. I am doubling it to 4000 for a while to raise it. My last vit d test was done at the end of September and it was fine so I wonder if winter is part of the problem?

At my current level of
fitness
I’m happy with that! Looking at the stats, I’ve achieved PBs for 3 of the segments on my run. That was definitely unexpected as I felt I was really slow. Kilometre Splits: 9:22, 9:16, 9:25, 9:22, 7:35 Happy Sunday running, everyone! 😊👍🏃♀️

What has running given you? 🤗
As a result of consistent thrice weekly running, I’ve improved my cardiovascular
fitness
, strength and stamina. But I’ve also become more attuned to my body’s requirements and demands, and realised I am much more physically and mentally capable than I think I am. What about you?

Hello all
However over the past 2 years I have lost so much
fitness
and am struggling to find my mojo again. So I’ve decided to give a Half Marathon a go. Something to train for and work towards. Some of you might know me from the Bridge to 10K forum.

If I can Jeff an HM, how far can I walk?
I hope that running improves my
fitness
more than walking, but can anyone who has done a long hike, and who also runs, offer advice? I don't want to stop running but I will probably swap to shorter runs and longer walks, if I can find the time :)

Weight-bearing exercise for bone health
https://www.seattletimes.com/life/wellness/what-counts-as-weight-bearing-exercise/ "Specifically, activity needs to provide rapid impacts of at least twice your body weight, and it needs to get progressively harder as your
fitness
improves and your bones adapt. "What does this mean for you?

Sense-check, Hashi Swings, and inability to lose weight
I keep a
fitness
and food diary and track it via the CarbManager app. So over the last 2 years, I’ve been trying to optimise my nutrients, and over the last 6 months, I slowly increased my Levo/T4, with the objective of getting my FT3 levels into the top third of the range.

Consolidation run turns into week 1 run 1. Is it ok for a 9 year old to do c25k? Advice please!!
He does sports clubs a few times a week after school while I’m at work so he’s got some level of
fitness
. He did struggle a little bit with this run though. He wouldn’t listen when I said he needed to pace himself it’s not a race - just went flat out 🤦♀️ . I just don’t want him doing too much.

Covid-19, Vaccines and being Hypothyroid
My
fitness
had completely gone, having to keep stopping while walking to catch my breath. However I soon got to back to going about as normal. On December 18th I took my booster dose. Probably pointless as I had prior infection this booster was pfizer. I noticed the difference as well.

How do you track your workouts?
So when I added Strength and Flex workouts to my program, it was easy enough to track it by engaging in these HU forums, like a daily
fitness
journal micro-blog of a kind. So these didn’t go into any digital tracker. But then I started to add to my workout routines!

HELP
I need help & advice to see where I am going wrong, I have never been on any fad diet & due to lockdown I let my
fitness
& eating slip so now I weigh 11st, I'm 5ft 1in aged 72. I gave up alcohol 1st January, I don't eat bread, potatoes.

JJMP w1r2 and a priceless moment
But, today's run showed my
fitness
has definitely improved. Even though I have done a few c25k & consolidation runs at this park, I never ran the 5k here. Once I completed the 2 loops, I remembered about 10yrs back I had attempted to jog this park as I was getting bored of walking there regularly.

Does taking Levo at night not work for some people?
I thought I’d try evenings and since this I’ve definitely felt more tired, and have somehow gained 6lb in 4 weeks. 100% am not over consuming calories as I log my
fitness
pal and around jan I was doing around 1000 cal per day and then sat sun allow more, then more recently I would say around 1200-1400

All the gear, no idea ... but magic shoes.
And every run adds to my structural
fitness
, strengthening my legs and protecting me from injury. But then, a few weeks ago I saw Nike Vaporfly shoes on sale at half price.

Just a Short Recovery Run 🌞🏃
During the last 3 months or so my VO2MAX had dropped and my
fitness
age had become older than my actual age. This has now reversed and I am now 7 years younger than my actual age 😁 Not quite as low as it had been at one point but at least heading back in the right direction , Happy Running! 😁
