Anaemia or CLL? Time for re-referral?
Very traumatic, especially for a
fitness
‘guru’. She still ‘works out’ daily in the gym, or alternates with a 5-mile walk and is active despite the copious medication she has to take and SpO2 monitoring, etc. No ‘night sweats’, lymphadenopathy, weight loss, etc.

Covid Pneumonia - Recovery!
Fitness
is crucial. I hope what I have posted here helps others who suffer any form of post viral fatigue after pneumonia. Very few doctors will prepare you for just how long recovery takes. I still remember one doctor telling me i'd be back on my feet in 3-4 months How wrong he was!

I was told that my condition was missed due to my
fitness
and that a slow heartbeat was not considered a risk. Apparently the sinus node was failing.

Couch25k has finally made me a runner
A vicious cold put a stop to exercise a month ago but today I headed out again, wondering if all
fitness
was gone. Reason for this post is to say my 3k in 25 mins today proves to me once and for all the brilliance of the C25k programme.

A duvet full of pesky gremlins and a very full river
I only managed a couple of runs in January, and am starting to wonder if I will ever get my
fitness
back. And then I watched The human race, a documentary yesterday and found all my enthusiasm again Woke early, only to find a duvet full of gremlins. Oh I ache, this aches and that aches..

You've got to walk a little, talk a little... sit in the sun and rest a little...

fitness
.-part-2...-trying-to-find-the-time...-and-it-is-there... Up and downstairs for washing, and then all the pegging on the line.... stretching, bending and lifting. It all counts, do not kid yourselves.

Starting again after long break
I want my previous
fitness
level back and I want to reach that elusive 10k! 1 Jan 2023 I restarted at week 3 run 1. I’m happy it was the right level to rejoin as though I haven’t been running, I do a lot of walking. I’ve now also done run 2 and looking forward to the next.

How to Keep your Hands Warm with Chemical Heat Packs
The cycling seemed to do nothing much for aerobic
fitness
which was a disappointment, but it I think lowered my Reynaud's breakpoint down from 10deg down to 8deg when on foot. Most of the time then I can now avoid heatpacks in the shoes when walking.

S&F Catch-Up: Let us know about what you’ve been up to in February
Just a quick catch-up post asking what kind of workouts or
fitness
plans people are involved in? Have you managed to keep up the momentum from January? Have you explored some new workouts? Or have you kept going with something you started in January, like YWA yoga monthly’s calendars?

Been lurking on here for a week... now it's time to talk about my drinking!
I am 41 and a
fitness
fanatic... who drinks too much! How does that work, eh? I walk, run, swim, cycle and lift weights. Then after that I drink about 10 units a night, 4-5 nights a week. Have done for about 10 years now. Why? Just habit I guess!

Slow heart rate.
I am a 49 y.o female, non smoker, average weight &
fitness
. About this time last week I felt very aware of my heart beats, more pronounced I suppose, also felt like I was having to take in deeper breaths, didn't feel ill and have had no pain.

Heart rate training attempt two - using polar watch properly!
Overall my times are definately slower but I'm coming back feeling great and not beetroot red and sweaty and it still says I'm gaining
fitness
. For the first time my watch is happy with my training and says it's productive instead of over reaching or under productive as I was used to seeing.

Almost halfway!
I actually started C25K back in August as I wanted to gain some
fitness
back after having my little girl in May. 5 months later I'm still going (welp!)

Back to my weekly target / audiobook recommendation
This might be due to having less stamina due to age (I’m 65) or just that I’ve lost some of my
fitness
, I’m not sure. On Friday I was running out of days to run and needed to do 8k to meet my target. Well, I did it but it was certainly hard work.

Newly Diagnosed - DaisyTerrier
Need to now take
fitness
& weight loss seriously. Quiet a lot to take in, looking on the positive aspect, maybe the extra push I need to eat sensibly & exercise more, are there any recommended guide line books Arterial Fibulation management?
