#Walk1000Miles How is everyone doing?
And my Apple-
fitness
circles don’t look too bad either! Thank you, Apple Health! And I’m still ahead my average marker on my #Walk1000Miles, e.g. my pace marker, but I’m obviously adding all my running and rowing to my #1000miles score.

🏃♀️🏅👩🎓 Graduates’ Club….the Next Steps July week 4 👩🎓🏅🏃♀️
One of the nicest things about establishing a good base level of running
fitness
(as you’ve done by completing Couch to 5k!) is that it opens up a bigger variety of routes to you. It’s a real treat to try them out. Don’t forget to post a picture!

I’m thinking of having a weight loss /
fitness
push month and wondered how others had found it?? Do you still do 30 minutes or less?

5 years on from starting C25k
Every niggle felt like the end, I wondered whether running was really going to be a sustainable path to
fitness
. But, I stuck with it, and in time I passed the graduation point (that was in August 2018….I needed physio treatment for a calf injury in week 6).

breathing whilst running
It says that to reach proper aerobic
fitness
you should be breathing through your nose whilst running. I only breath through my mouth, sometimes blowing in this weather. Should I be practising nose breathing? I seem to be a bit addicted to this running malarkey 😂.

Knowing when NOT to run !
Through all of the above I have now managed to loose 7kg (15.4lbs) This is already having an effect on my
fitness
, I am now walking at the same or similar perceived exertion but my HR is lower (this is way below the level that the beta blockers would limit my HR) It's has also (quite obviously really

Lungs + Exercise
it’s terrifying going into a ‘normal’
fitness
environment isn’t it? Even if we can ‘hide’ our diseases. (Nobody should have to hide but we try to don’t we a lot of the time) my classes have a huge variety of people and it’s a wonderful safe space.

A DNA test, a book and a diet - my AFib Eureka moment !
I think there are a few companies doing it, not sure if I’m allowed to advertise the one I used but it was excellent and gave 40 DNA profiled reports across diet, sleep, exercise,
fitness
, stress etc.

New member here ... hi
During CV lockdown, I lost much aerobic
fitness
and have turned to C25k to restart the process and maybe, just maybe, overcome my reluctance to put running/jogging into regular action. My exercise background starts from a real and ever present uninterest in any sport whatsoever.

Ongoing breathlessness and exhaustion
Initially did very well and was approaching a good level of
fitness
. Since October/November I have experienced increasing breathlessness, absolute exhaustion and some lightheadedness/dizziness when I become breathless.

How long to hold off dialysis?
He's still relatively healthy (bikes, walks, goes to his local
fitness
center) and would like to be alive and active as long as possible. Thank you!

Entresto/Eplerenone and high potassium
My diet is fairly low in potassium (or so My
Fitness
Pal tells me!) so suspect it’s the drugs. Has anyone experienced high P with these drugs and been given an alternative that works well?

Why your speed isn't important
On this run I demonstrated to myself that my pace was more affected by the terrain and what I was seeing than my
fitness
, level of training or anything else. Some days I might be trying to see how fast I can go (Parkrun lol) but that’s pretty rare.

Avioding Coming a cropper when we are trying to regain a level of fitness
So once these left me, I think I got a false sense of my own
fitness
, but I hadn't factored in the general deterioration of my muscle tone. this had lulled me into a false sense of my own ability YIKES!

Reined in by rehab - what's going on?
In the meantime, I face months of significant physical restrictions (for me) which is really difficult when I feel OK - and it's impacting my
fitness
ahead of OHS. Has anyone else had experience of their BP dropping during exercise? Did you ever get answers about why?

Read all about it? 📖 🎽 Weekly chat 27th March – 2nd April 2023
On the rare occasion I read books about running, they’re never about training, diet or
fitness
regimes. The same goes for podcasts, and pretty much all videos too - I’m not interested in spending 20 minutes getting information I could read in two.

What to expect on 3mg/day pred, and monthly tapering...
Pre PMR I was massively into
fitness
, and am determined to get this part of my life back. Plus, is the menopause also a factor in all this? Is this a case of "wood for trees"?
