So now it's my
fitness
level holding me back and not my prosthetic leg, so I'm going to restart the program from week 4 to really improve my running 😀💪👍

worsening of asthma post covid
checked my throat and all ok, I have a CT scan just to check my upper airways, the consultant was very helpful and wanted to reassure me as I had lung cancer just over 2 years ago and had part of my lung removed, I made a speedy recovery and didn’t need further treatment, I’ve kept a good level of

Hubble, bubble toil & trouble
I could have another month or two of being at risk due to the muscle strains, but if I can Japanese run my way through C25K, I can maintain
fitness
as I recover. A win-win!

Sunday Long Run 🌧️
I have been continuing my training plan to increase my endurance and
fitness
by running three times a week. My runs are still HR based and vary in effort.

First post.
I have always loved my
fitness
, I was a runner and training for an Ironman when things started to go wrong. First joint replacement at 58 followed by another two. I quite enjoyed the Concept rower and realised how useful it was to keep ligaments etc strong.

Demon Drink
And that’s why recently in the past years I’ve tried to focus on my
fitness
and other hobbies and to stop going out every weekend. I’m still young and I want to live a life without beer goggles.

🏃♀️🏅👨🎓Graduates Chat : November week 3 and 4- Runs on pause? 👩🎓🏅🏃♀️
The good news is your
fitness
hangs around for much longer than you might think. You can apparently not run for a fortnight without losing any at all, and after that it’s only a slow decline. Mentally, it can be harder to get started though.

Starting C25K again for fourth time....
Good to know that I haven't lost too much
fitness
- the one minute intervals were very manageable, and my foot/ankle felt strong. I remember the first time I tried W1R1 I was gasping and struggling for breath after 4 or 5 intervals!

Conversation with fitness coach
Hi guys I had a conversation with my
fitness
coach today when I told him I wasn't losing weight he actually told me that when people say they would want to lose weight they mean lose fat and he told me the distinction between fat and muscle and it's weighted.

Use of NSAIDs in lieu of steroids
I am at a cross- road of either accepting pain and stiffness as inevitable at my age and
fitness
level or continuing on medication to alleviate it, with the consequences of that continuum. I would welcome views and advice.

🍏Monday it’s Run Day
beach.. a few swifts flying around in the beautiful early fresh air…I breathe in deeply…. today it feels easy so I’ll take that, and enjoy the motion of my arms and legs moving in a gentle rhythm… I reflect on how wonderful the C25K program was… it has unlocked a new world, a new experience, a new

Highly elevated ESR and CRP but no symptoms of a flare
I work full time and am very lucky to be able to maintain the same active level of
fitness
pre-PMR. My issue started at the beginning of November when my routine blood tests showed highly elevated ESR and CRP.
