Is this take 3 or take 4?
I did 3 months of Joe Wicks hiit classes to get a bit more cardio
fitness
(minus the heavy on the knees exercises) and now have started back on C25K on a treadmill (less chance to re injure while strengthening apparently).

Staying Active in Winter
Activity Classes
If the weather is preventing you from getting out and your budget allows, group classes at your
fitness
centre, pool, or even dance classes can be a great way of staying active (and social) in the winter months.

My CLL Specialist seemed concerned. I need help understanding test results.
I have lost a lot of my
fitness
since then. My recent results (my interpretation) indicate disease progression. I could use some help figuring out what my test results mean.

Thoughts on preventing more arryrhmias. Now 2 ablations down, on having been persistently in AF
Plus I have felt my return to exercise
fitness
has been slow, still behind older or v average runner/cycling friends. Am also definitely not over pushing myself. He said he thought the 1.25mg might be putting the breaks on. Yet such a low dose, may not be doing much for my heart.

4.5K Rainy Intervals Run 🌧️👍
I know I wouldn’t persevere with these intervals without the training program and knowing that I’m doing all the right things to get my
fitness
back. Home for stretches, post run workout and coffee, followed by porridge and maple syrup 🥣 5 minute interval paces: 6:59, 7:02, 7:17

Exercise and PMR
I do want to try a rebuild my
fitness
gradually, but I find it difficult to know sometimes how far to push things. I started getting problems with aches in my hips and thighs in 2022 when doing physio exercises for my osteoporosis. The aches didn’t happen straightaway, but at night in bed.

10K in the sunshine ☀️
After close to 6 months on this program my stamina and
fitness
have improved such that my zones have changed slightly, making in easier to stay in my new Zone 1. I had hopes of a 10K today but it wasn’t the main objective. That’s what I kept telling myself!

Our HU forums for runners, walkers and staying fit
I know most of us are quite well known to all of our sister forums, but thought I’d just pin a little signposting 🪧 reminder that we have five sister forums dedicated to supporting our runners and walkers at various stages of their
fitness
journey, including cross-training and workout needs.

Rather scared. What does this mean?
My
fitness
levels are improving little by little. I walked 3/4 of a km tonight. I kept having to stop every 150 ft but because my lower stomach (an inch above my navel) felt tight and like my diaphragm was stopping me.

Does knitting count as exercise? 🤔
Biting my tongue, I politely explained that competitive sport/dancing, exercise &
fitness
had/is a big part of my life. I grew up with sporty parents & a
fitness
instructor sister.

Another 45 (ish) minute walk
Vo2max is up again which is interesting giving me a
fitness
age some 20 years younger than my actual age ! I find this very strange as I'm recovering from a MI 🤔 ? What was really interesting today was the smell of all the grass and flowers following all the rain , it was really intense!

Week 3 Run 2 (revisited) 😊👍
I felt I was just a tad too fast yesterday for my current
fitness
level. Running clothes on without hesitation! No gremlins today. Tech charged and synced. Couldn’t find a hairbrush, no matter, fingers through hair and trademark sun visor on!

Sick Sinus Syndrome
I have been re-building my
fitness
and am back to Gym, Table Tennis, Yoga and Tai Chi. My Cardiologist has finally referred me to an EP, However, I guess I will wait ages for an appointment !! My curiosity is about some weird symptoms that may indicate Sick Sinus Syndrome?

Week 7 run 3 to week 8 run 1
At least all the walking I did last week, about 50km all told, helped keep my
fitness
level up, Week 9 is in sight, getting excited now😀👍. Now on to the garden to get it tidy again, it really grew el whilst we were away.

here we go again😬
After all this time of a few walks and about 12 Pilates sessions I must obviously had a baseline
fitness
level higher than I thought. 😁 so hopefully I’m back and looking forward to some better weather and many more runs
