I tested positive for covid beginning of July but a few days prior to this I started with my breathing becoming a little raspy, a bit like whistling when breathing, could this have been the first symptom of covid? My asthma is gradually getting better but still have a kind of wheeze in my throat but my chest is clear. ENT have checked my throat and all ok, I have a CT scan just to check my upper airways, the consultant was very helpful and wanted to reassure me as I had lung cancer just over 2 years ago and had part of my lung removed, I made a speedy recovery and didn’t need further treatment, I’ve kept a good level of fitness and do lots of walking. Not used to having my asthma out of control for so long, is this normal after covid?
Thanks again Lynne
