30 minutes pilates, 10,000 steps in London, and 20 minutes of stretches and hamstring work. A busy day of travel and script-checking - view is not from my box, but from just along the way, during the interval.
I felt better yesterday on the actual day of my slow run than I did on Thursday - a whole day after my previous "faster" run. So it looks like the adoption of 🐌-pace worked and could be the way to ease my way back into running, without risking my back. I could have another month or two of being at risk due to the muscle strains, but if I can Japanese run my way through C25K, I can maintain fitness as I recover. A win-win!
The new exercises are helping me so much; and being able to do selective non-pretzel/downward-doggy yoga is making a difference too. I did an Adrienne session yesterday and found my breath! (It had been missing since about 1997 ...)
Happy weekend running, folks!
