Is this take 3 or take 4?
I did 3 months of Joe Wicks hiit classes to get a bit more cardio
fitness
(minus the heavy on the knees exercises) and now have started back on C25K on a treadmill (less chance to re injure while strengthening apparently).

Rather scared. What does this mean?
My
fitness
levels are improving little by little. I walked 3/4 of a km tonight. I kept having to stop every 150 ft but because my lower stomach (an inch above my navel) felt tight and like my diaphragm was stopping me.

Week 3
The following 2 days I had a lot of stump pain and could not get leg fitted comfortably, but today leg fit was good so this morning I did a 40 minute exercise workout, (press-ups, squats, a bit of weights and
fitness
bands) and then this afternoon I still felt good so I though, damn it I wont let 3 minutes

My CLL Specialist seemed concerned. I need help understanding test results.
I have lost a lot of my
fitness
since then. My recent results (my interpretation) indicate disease progression. I could use some help figuring out what my test results mean.

Contact IT (Band) Support.
I only had 8 weeks' clean training going into the event, so was at the very low end of my
fitness
and, more importantly, strength. Quads normally act as brakes. No quads equals no brakes; no brakes equals no control.

Does knitting count as exercise? 🤔
Biting my tongue, I politely explained that competitive sport/dancing, exercise &
fitness
had/is a big part of my life. I grew up with sporty parents & a
fitness
instructor sister.

Our HU forums for runners, walkers and staying fit
I know most of us are quite well known to all of our sister forums, but thought I’d just pin a little signposting 🪧 reminder that we have five sister forums dedicated to supporting our runners and walkers at various stages of their
fitness
journey, including cross-training and workout needs.

First post.
I have always loved my
fitness
, I was a runner and training for an Ironman when things started to go wrong. First joint replacement at 58 followed by another two. I quite enjoyed the Concept rower and realised how useful it was to keep ligaments etc strong.

Toe nail injury
I know realistically I’ll lose some
fitness
but am trying to tell myself these things happen and I’ve not signed up for any races or anything like that so just take things as they go. Thank you in advance!

CHANGING ROOM CHAT... APRIL 2... THINK LIKE a TREE...PART ".
Good balance can make us all feel more powerful in our activities and the
fitness
benefits are endless. It might be of interest to note that as with some of our stretches, in balance, there is dynamic balance and static balance!

My 4th Runniversary!!!!
And of course, I
added all sorts of little things to support my
journey: hubby bought me a new set of dumbbells (we each have our own now), I bought a new chain holder for my rower (making the oiling process a one-person job), I bought a boot buddy making cleaning muddy running shoes,

Recovery and a balanced lifestyle - fun is as important as exercise
Recovery is a complex process and we live in a culture that appears to value
fitness
above all else. I find it extraordinary that it’s acceptable to discuss the various ins and outs of exercise and the relative value of Fitbit versus iWatch yet relegate humour to its own special compartment.

Week 7 run 3 to week 8 run 1
At least all the walking I did last week, about 50km all told, helped keep my
fitness
level up, Week 9 is in sight, getting excited now😀👍. Now on to the garden to get it tidy again, it really grew el whilst we were away.

Started Couch to 5K 4 weeks ago, and I definitely seeing the difference in my running breathing, and
fitness
. This is a selfie of myself and my wife, my wife is a runner and has been a wonderful supportive person throughout this experience. I’m really enjoy this fantastic experience.

Sick Sinus Syndrome
I have been re-building my
fitness
and am back to Gym, Table Tennis, Yoga and Tai Chi. My Cardiologist has finally referred me to an EP, However, I guess I will wait ages for an appointment !! My curiosity is about some weird symptoms that may indicate Sick Sinus Syndrome?

Week 3 Run 2 (revisited) 😊👍
I felt I was just a tad too fast yesterday for my current
fitness
level. Running clothes on without hesitation! No gremlins today. Tech charged and synced. Couldn’t find a hairbrush, no matter, fingers through hair and trademark sun visor on!

Another 45 (ish) minute walk
Vo2max is up again which is interesting giving me a
fitness
age some 20 years younger than my actual age ! I find this very strange as I'm recovering from a MI 🤔 ? What was really interesting today was the smell of all the grass and flowers following all the rain , it was really intense!
