First 10k ever
Whereas previously I had no pace which was both “running” and “comfortable”, I now have enough
fitness
to have found this. It surely is not fast! In fact it’s absurdly slow - but I’ve stopped being so hard on myself, so that’s ok.

10K in the sunshine ☀️
After close to 6 months on this program my stamina and
fitness
have improved such that my zones have changed slightly, making in easier to stay in my new Zone 1. I had hopes of a 10K today but it wasn’t the main objective. That’s what I kept telling myself!

Holiday running
Particularly as I've been credited with an extra notch on my VO2max and it has obligingly knocked 2 years off my

Graduated and really hurt my knee
I so want to keep my
fitness
level up as I worked so hard to graduate. What do I do? Rest more until completely better? Or go slow, walk/run and see how it goes? Advice most welcome!

Please explain!
Either my

has miraculously improved in 48 hours (unlikely!) or the treadmill is massively easier than 'real' running. I'm bemused!!!

My 4th Runniversary!!!!

added all sorts of little things to support my
journey: hubby bought me a new set of dumbbells (we each have our own now), I bought a new chain holder for my rower (making the oiling process a one-person job), I bought a boot buddy making cleaning muddy running shoes,

A very lumpy 7 miler
… Well it’s a road route round the local fell, I’ve thought it well above my
fitness
level, but decided this is the year…. I’ve been running a lot of hill repeats to build up leg strength. Anyway, had a go at the route at weekend.

It is hard and long to gain

Bradycardia + High Blood pressure
When my son was born in 2015 I definitely started to lose my
fitness
and started to eat less well and over the past 7 years slowly put on weight. Thankfully my vanity took over and last year I lost it all again and got back to my usual body weight, losing about 2.5 stone.

Name change time- Couch potato no more!
Mr Garmin also seemed pleased with me and reduced my
fitness
age, which is always a bonus! Next run will be in Wales and I’m still trying to find the least hilly route 😂.
